We thought we were running a cat hotel…

Turns out we accidentally opened a cat wellness retreat. 😂

Sasha signed up for the Comfy Cat Fitness Program and somehow lost 0.4 lbs after a week of nonstop zoomies, stair sprints, and climbing. She even treated herself to the Comfy Cat Sink Spa after her tough workouts! 🛁 Her pawrents told us she kept crying after she got home because she missed us and all the fun. 🥲

Windu, on the other hand, came for the cuddles, the Comfy Cat Strawberry Box Lounge, and what he believed was an unlimited garden lettuce buffet. 🥬🍓 If there was a lap to curl up on—or a chance to sneak a bite of our garden lettuce—he was first in line.

✨ A very special stay for us as we welcomed back returning kitty Theo 🐈whom we last saw all the way back in 2022 ‼️, along with his not-so-new sister Luna 🐈‍⬛, whom we had never met before!

Back in 2022, Theo spent his entire stay hiding from us at our old home in Fullerton, CA 🫣. This time, though, he opened up within 24 hours and was rolling around asking for pets shortly after! His mom said he probably remembered us—even though it had been almost 4 years since his last visit, which is incredibly impressive! 🥹

Luna the socialite play queen had absolutely no trouble settling in. We even did some supervised socialization with the ever-playful sweetheart Sorcha 💕 in the Guest Suite! Unfortunately, we had to keep it to door greets 🚪🐾 because Sorcha was just a little too enthusiastic 🤪, and Luna wasn’t quite in the mood for such a rambunctious playmate. Theo, on the other hand, was very curious and kept trying to peek into the Guest Suite to find Sorcha! 👀

We’re so grateful to have earned Theo’s trust over the years and loved getting to meet the wonderful Luna. We hope to see both of them again soon! 🧡🖤🐾

Say hello to a new face to Comfy Cat Haven -- Simon, the cutest 8-month old kitten! 🐱 🐈

Simon was such an affectionate soul and certainly such a gentle kitty for being a kitten! He absolutely slobbered us in plenty of kitty "saliva facials", so much he practically gave us a spa day every day in our own home! 🧖‍♀️

He loved his sunny nap spots and would always cuddle for a quick nap if you were there with him. His pawrents bought our toy wand and kickers -- but he ended up tearing up fur ball toy part of the wand so much that we replaced it with a cat-friendly felt ball which was much safer for Mr. Simon!

✨ New Kitties in the House!!! ✨

We were thrilled to take care of our first full-breed Maine C**n, Apollo 🐾 He and his sister Peachy were such good examples of how we help brand new kitty clients adjust into our home (an experience we are starting to come by more rarely since we have been blessed with returning clients all year so far! 💛)

Despite being a large 17 pound KITTEN 🐈, Apollo really parked himself in his carrier and Peachy was exclusively living off of Churus the first few days 😮‍💨, which honestly is something we’ve become familiar with seeing many times while cats are adjusting to a new space like ours.

We always try to let cats adjust at their own pace instead of forcing interactions or pushing them out of their comfort zones too quickly. We set up safe cozy spaces for them and let them slowly explore and build confidence on their own terms. ☀️🏡💪

After a few quiet nights of exploring, they slowly started nibbling more food, opening up to us, and realizing this was a safe space 🤗

And once they settled in… it was nonstop zoomies and chaos in the best way possible 😂

Watching a 17-pound Maine C**n kitten run around the house with his spunky little black-and-white fluffy sister was honestly so much fun, and they definitely made full use of every cat tree, tunnel, and climbing space available 🤾🏻‍♂️

They were even able to take a little piece of the Comfy Cat home with them — Vicki made Apollo a special custom XL Comfy Cat kicker since the regular sized ones were just way too small for him 😂🐾

RAGDOLLS!!! 💗 Lina & Nura

Can you believe it has been 3 years since we last saw these two?! We cannnnnnnoooot with how large and fluffy they both are. Perfect ragdoll personalities and the floofiest puffball fur coats -- so much so that they pretty much left a whole rug's worth of white fur behind after their stay was over. They very much enjoyed their Deluxe Package stay and ate alllll the treats and slept on alllll the bedding! They definitely made full use of all their perks!

Little baby Winnie is here! 🐾

This small kitten first came to us March 2026 and mostly hid behind the Guest Suite pillows on the first stay. 🛌 Even though she was allowed to venture out into the living room, she stuck to her familiar and stayed in the Guest Room Suite for the majority of her stay. 😬

She's already back for her second stay May 2026 and was itching to explore a and only hid in the pillows for a few hours instead of a few days this time! 🎉 It is amazing to see how much cats remember the place, even if it has been a few weeks to a few months -- and adjust faster each time after! 😍
