This is a post I really hate having to make. 💔

As much as it hurts to say, there's a very real possibility that Northern Diamond won't be attending many, if any, shows this fall and winter.

For those who don't know, I've been dealing with an overwhelming amount of personal and legal responsibilities involving probate, an out-of-state property, squatters, theft, and people removing belongings from the estate. I've had to hire two separate attorneys, and between the legal expenses and everything else involved, the financial strain has been substantial.

As much as I love showing my dogs, I have to be realistic about where my money and attention need to go until these matters are resolved.

And I'm absolutely heartbroken about it.

I was so excited to get back into the ring and start campaigning Nico toward his Grand Champion title and starting M'Ocean's show career. I've been looking forward to that journey, seeing everyone, spending time with my show family, and doing something that genuinely brings me happiness.

Dog shows have never been just about ribbons and titles for me. It's the friendships, the competition, the memories, and the pride of watching years of hard work in my breeding program come together in the ring.

Right now, life is forcing me to put something I love on the back burner, and that's a really difficult pill to swallow.

I'm not giving up on my goals, and I'm certainly not giving up on Nico. His Grand Champion campaign may just have to wait a little longer than I'd hoped.

Hopefully, we'll still make it to a few shows, but if you don't see us out there much this season, now you know why.

Sometimes being responsible means making sacrifices that absolutely break your heart. 💔

I miss my show family already, and I hope we'll be back in the ring sooner rather than later.
