Still smiling over this one ❤️

Today at the New Castle Kennel Club under judge Robette Johns, GCH Legacy’s Tempest “Tee” earned Owner-Handled Group 1 — our first group win together.

We could not be more thrilled and grateful. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and cheered us on ringside this week. The cold and rain have been worth it for moments like these and for the people we get to share them with.

So proud of this girl and thankful to be making these memories together 🐾

🌧️🐾 Not exactly a picture-perfect spring day, but we’re grateful for a nice day in the ring anyway.

Today at the New Castle Kennel Club under judge Elizabeth Muthard, Legacy’s Tempest “Tee” was awarded Select and Owner-Handled Best of Breed (OHBOB). 🏆

Cold, rainy days can make showing feel a little extra long, so we’re thankful for the recognition and for everyone who sticks it out ringside no matter the weather. Tee always gives us her best and today was no exception. 💙🐾

Congratulations to all of the exhibitors, and hoping for a little sunshine tomorrow! ☔✨

What a fun day at Altoona Area KC!

Under judge Butch Schulman, Legacy’s Tempest “Tee” was awarded Select, and her daughter Legacy’s Amazing Grace “Maizy” went Winners Bitch from the Am-Bred class and topped it off with OHBOB!

One of those extra special moments getting to share the ring with Maizy’s co-owner, Alysha Funk. Watching these girls continue to grow and succeed together makes all the hard work worth it. Proud of this mother-daughter duo and grateful for the memories made ringside today 💙🐾

Gracie does it again… and this time she’s digging into something new 🐾

Legacy’s Amazing Grace “Gracie” earned both her RATI and RATN titles this weekend with co-owner Alyshia Funk, and we couldn’t be more proud of this team. Watching these two take on new challenges and succeed has been so rewarding—Alyshia has done an incredible job bringing out the best in her.

What makes this especially meaningful to us is seeing a Legacy puppy excel not just in the conformation ring, but in performance events as well. This is exactly what we strive for—dogs that are sound in body, clear in mind, and steady in temperament, capable of doing it all.

Gracie continues to prove that beauty and ability go hand in hand 💪
We’re so proud of everything this duo has accomplished this year and can’t wait to see what’s next ❤️

What a weekend to remember in Georgia ❤️

We had an incredible time at the North Georgia and Atlanta German Shepherd Dog Club specialties, along with the Southeast Futurity/Maturity. Both clubs truly went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome (and very well fed!)—we’re so grateful for the hospitality and the effort that goes into hosting such special events.

It was wonderful catching up with friends, meeting new ones, and watching a beautiful entry all weekend long. The quality in the ring deserves to be recognized and celebrated—so many outstanding dogs on display.

On Sunday at the Maturity under Judge Dick Jones, littermates CH BIF Legacy’s Stoke My Fire “Dutch” and RFB Legacy’s Firebird “Birdie” both had standout moments:
✨ Birdie – Best Opposite in Maturity
✨ Dutch – Reserve Maturity Dog

These two have been such a joy to watch grow and develop, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have them as part of our program.

Huge thank you to handler Autumn Dugan for presenting them so beautifully, and to Stephanie Tsiarkezos-Schrock for being the best road trip partner—this trip was one for the books because of you both.

Legacy’s Firebird “Birdie” — Reserve Winners Bitch

BeBe and Reno were recognized under Judge Rita Sandell at the German Shepherd Club of Atlanta specialty and Birdie under Judge Lorry Bellah at the German Shepherd Dog Club of North Georgia.

All three beautifully handled by Autumn Dugan — we’re so proud of this team and how these dogs continue to come together in the ring.

Thank you to both clubs for hosting such great specialties and supporting the breed and our community. 🐾

Legacy’s Stoke My Fire “Dutch” getting hands-on with his herding trainer Kelly Hughes yesterday—learning to move sheep as a group and starting to understand his job. It’s something special watching instinct turn into purpose.

Happy 10th Birthday to Lacomtesse Lucifer MorningStar — our Luc 🖤

The cornerstone of our program and the heart and soul of our family. Ten years of loyalty, presence, and quiet greatness that has shaped so much of what Legacy German Shepherds is today.

We celebrated him the way he loves most — a side-by-side ride up on the mountain, ears in the wind, taking it all in. Just Luc being Luc.

Luc has done it all — helped raise puppies, gone Select at the GSDCA National, and built a legacy that speaks for itself. He has sired two GSDCA Grand Victors and many other champions, leaving his mark on generations to come.

But beyond the titles and accomplishments, he’s simply the best partner and family dog we could ever ask for. Steady, devoted, and always right there.

We are so proud of everything he is — and everything he’s given.

Happy Birthday, Luc… 10 years young and still leading the way 🖤
