Canine Karma Training has a truly unique approach to dog training. For almost a decade our one-of-a-kind system has changed tens of thousands of lives around the world. Our program is focused on the relationship between the dog and owner, because relationship is EVERYTHING. "Relationship dictates behavior and obedience, not repetition." Whether or not your dog listens to you or behaves for you is
heavily based on the relationship that you have with them. Despite mainstream dog training beliefs and practices, you don't get an "obedient" dog from endless hours of working on basic commands (sit, down, come). Obedience is based on the relationship between the one giving the command and the one receiving it. If you do not have an appropriate relationship, you will only have "control" over your dog when you have food in one hand and a leash in the other. We are Reward-Based, Balanced Trainers and do not employ old-school, out-dated methods like Alpha/Dominance Theory, heavy compulsion, or training with fear/intimidation. Our focus is on educating our students to create a much more knowledgable and capable owner. We want you to understand WHY you're doing what you're doing, not just HOW to do it. The relationship we build for you provides a dramatically easier, well-behaved, and obedient dog, that you'll enjoy for the rest of their life.
