🐶🇺🇸 UMMM… PAWRRRENTS? WE NEED TO TALK. 🇺🇸🐶

Hi, Mom. Hi, Dad. 👋
It's me. Your dog. 🐾

I heard you have plans for Labor Day weekend and that I'm having my own little vacation at Bark Inn Kennels. Sounds great! 😎🐶

But the nice people at Bark Inn said you need to check my paperwork first. 📋

They said to look at my reservation confirmation email and make sure:
🐾 My Owner and Pet Information Form has been completed and signed for this year.
🐾 My rabies certificate is up to date.
🐾 My town dog license is current.

Apparently, paperwork is important. 🙄

I don't really understand why, because I personally plan on spending my Labor Day weekend doing important things like sniffing, playing, napping, getting treats, and being adorable. 💤🎾🦴

So please take care of the boring human stuff before you bring me in. That way, when I arrive, we can get right to the fun! ❤️

Thanks, Pawrents. You're the best. Now… where are my treats? 😋🐾

📋 BEFORE YOUR LABOR DAY GETAWAY… DON'T FORGET YOUR PUP'S PAPERWORK! 🐾

Labor Day weekend is one of our busy times here at Bark Inn Kennels, and we're looking forward to seeing all of our furry guests! 🐶❤️

Before your dog's stay, please take a moment to open your reservation confirmation email and review your pup's information.

If you have not already done so this year, please complete and return the updated, signed Owner and Pet Information Form attached to your confirmation email.

Please also check whether your confirmation indicates that we still need:
☑️ An updated rabies certificate
☑️ A current town dog license

Please take care of any missing paperwork before your dog's arrival.

Getting everything squared away ahead of time helps us keep check-in moving smoothly during the busy Labor Day weekend and ensures we have the information we need to provide the best care possible.

A few minutes of paperwork now = a smoother holiday weekend later!

🐾 A Quick Request for Our Bark Inn Families! 🐾

We’re asking all of our guests to please bring your dog’s regular food from home for their stay whenever possible. ❤️

We’ve recently seen an increase in dogs experiencing diarrhea while boarding. We’ve noticed that this is happening primarily with dogs who are switched from their regular food at home to the Blue Buffalo food we provide.

Even though Blue Buffalo is a quality food, a sudden change in diet can be hard on a dog’s digestive system. We believe the quick transition from their food at home to a different food here at the kennel may be contributing to the problem.

To help keep everyone’s tummies happy and their stays as comfortable as possible, we’re asking that you:
🐶 Bring the food your dog normally eats at home

🥣 Please pre-measure each meal into individual bags or containers

🏷️ Clearly label the bags with your dog’s name

📦 Bring enough food for the entire stay, plus a little extra if possible

We frequently have guests run out of food when meals are not portioned ahead of time.

Thank you for helping us keep our guests happy, healthy, and comfortable while they’re staying with us! 🐾❤️
