What an amazing week it's been, our Veterinary Technicians give us so much to appreciate! 💙

For Vet Technician Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating the care and dedication they bring to our patients and our team.

From comforting nervous pets and assisting with procedures to monitoring anesthesia, providing treatments, and educating pet parents, our technicians do so much behind the scenes to keep our patients happy and healthy.

Their compassion, dedication, knowledge, and hard work never go unnoticed, and we're so grateful to have them!

This is just a few of the faces on our team, join us in giving our vet techs a heartfelt Thank You!🩺

October 14 is National Pet Obesity Awareness Day, and we're here to help. If you're concerned about your pet's weight, start by writing down what they eat in a typical day, meals, treats, everything. Bring that list, along with any questions, to your next vet visit.
Stafford Veterinary Center offers nutrition counseling and preventative health care as part of the exam. Make an appointment at staffordveterinarycenter.com or call (860) 684-5868

Fall treats for your pup! 🍂

Pumpkin season isn't just for us! Try making your pup a batch of these easy homemade pumpkin treats! 🎃

1 cup plain pumpkin puree
2 eggs
About 2 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour

Mix everything together, roll out the dough and cut into your favorite shapes 🦴
Bake at 350° for about 20 to 25 minutes or until firm. Let them cool completely before your official taste tester gets involved 🐶.

✨Remember: Use 100% pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie filling) and treats should be given in moderation

🩺 A closer look without surgery! 🐾

Getting an ultrasound can give our veterinary team a real-time look at what's happening inside your pets body.

Using sound waves, ultrasound allows us to examine internal organs and can be a valuable diagnostic tool when investigating things like pregnancy, changes in appetite, vomiting, unexplained weight loos, urinary concerns, masses and more.

And the best part? It's non-invasive and painless!

Have questions about whether an ultrasound may be recommended for your pet? Give us a call at (860) 684-5868 🐶🐱

🐾 Pets In Need Community Event 💕

This weekend, members of our team had the opportunity to volunteer their time at a Pets In Need event, helping provide vaccines and basic veterinary care to families who qualify.

We're incredibly proud of everyone who donated their time, skills, and compassion to help pets in our community receive the care they deserve 🩺🐶🐱

Events like this are such a wonderful reminder of what veterinary medicine is all about, caring for animals, supporting the people who love them, and giving back to the community we're lucky to be a part of.

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who made the day possible!
