World Rabies Day!

Rabies is one of the deadliest viral diseases. It is zoonotic - it passes from animals to people.

Every year on September 28th, we are reminded that rabies affects people and animals worldwide, causing the death of tens of thousands of people EACH YEAR.

Rabies elimination strategies rely heavily on vaccination campaigns, community education, and rapid response to potential human exposures.

Because this is a deadly virus in people, (and yes, we do see rabies in Camden county!!) pet vaccination is required by law for our pet dogs and cats.

*** If you are unsure whether your pet is up-to-date on their rabies vaccine, give us a call! ***
