The Jigsaw project has been a long painful process, and the last remaining import animal was difficult to breed in her own right. I was determined to try to do my best to hopefully establish this amazing gene here and it looks like all the pain was worth it. I’m losing my mind over here but I’m pleased to announce the FIRST USCBB JIGSAWS are here!!!

Same photo but one is edited and one is straight from my camera…can you tell which is which?

It’s important to know what you’re looking at when it comes to photos. Especially geckos that claim to be that “paper white”. Increased exposure, cooler white balance (more blue tones), and exaggerated highlights will make geckos appear very white when they really aren’t. These 3 things are the first I adjust when editing to make sure my pictures are as true to the color I am seeing in real life. The gecko in the picture does have white, but the top picture that’s straight from my camera is not what I was really seeing.
