As May comes to a close, we are full of gratitude to everyone who came in and adopted this month. You took home adorable dogs and cats, saved their lives, and are giving them a beautiful home, family, and purpose. Thank you for opening your hearts and for coming to Stray Rescue! A huge thank you to our generous friends at Markets for covering adoption fees for all dogs and cats over 6 months old for the entire month, as well. What would we do without you?

While Donna was out and about, she came across this tiny little kitten who needed some help! We named this little man Qdoba, and we love him so much already. We'll get him the help he needs! So many goopy kitties already this year. They get upper respiratory infections, and when they go untreated it can get nasty quick with their tiny little immune systems. But this kitten will have a beautiful life, guaranteed!

And he's off! Braveheart is feeling good enough to get up and play!
This little guy is gaining weight and will be able to have his leg amputated (or what is left of it - he came in with his leg ripped off, most likely by a larger animal, but was far too tiny for a safe surgery).
Tiny is MIGHTY! We're so proud of this little soul.

Meet your new best friend, Poochella. She was rescued on last year's adoption festival! 💛

This girl is the total package. Affectionate, loving, and happiest when she’s right by your side. She absolutely loves to cuddle and thinks she’s a big lap dog. In her previous foster home she did great with children and loves all dogs she meets. Though she has a tiny bit of (excitement) reactivity that we are working on and she is not a big fan of cats. She does well in her crate, sleeps all through the night (in her own bed on the floor or in your bed- her favorite place) and is potty trained!

Poochella is on a weight loss journey and rocking it! She enjoys playtime in the back yard, walks, and exploring adventures! As she has lost weight, she has come back to her playful and silly self. Most of all she loves snoozing next to you on the couch!

If you’re looking for the sweetest BFF who will shower you with love, share your couch, and grow alongside you, she might just be your perfect match. 🐾💕

Poochella is a 4 year old, 79 pound female.
