Gonzalo has been so overlooked at the shelter, which is such a shame because he is a DELIGHT.

This sweet little bowling ball is 3yo, about 60lbs, and came to the shelter after his family moved and their new housing wouldn't allow him. After living in a real home, he hates the shelter- he's so stressed in his kennel, his fur is becoming patchy, and he hasn't yet left the shelter since coming in. Here is what we know about him:

🧸 sweet, goofy, playful boy
🏋️ food motivated and so trainable
🏞️ a wonderful walker, non reactive, and so attentive to his handler
🥰 affectionate and loving, cuddly
🐕 lived with 3 other dogs in his prior home and has generally been nonreactive with dogs out on walks
✅ likely potty trained since he previously lived in a home

Sweet baby Gonzalo is a diamond in the rough and when someone finally takes a second look at him, they are going to be SO lucky and everyone else is going to be kicking themselves for overlooking him.

Please foster or adopt Gonzalo, or even break him out for a weekend so he can remember what love and comfort feel like.

Starry Knight 💫🌟— a sweet, affectionate boy with a gentle, easygoing personality.

In foster care, Starry Knight has been an absolute star. He got along wonderfully with children and has shown himself to be friendly and non-reactive with everyone he has met, including other dogs on walks. His current foster notes, “This dog does not have a mean bone in his body. He does not know strangers, only friends”. At times, Starry is so excited to meet a new person, he can get jumpy but he’s learning to respect boundaries and keep four paws on the floor.

This handsome guy is a toy enthusiast and self-proclaimed connoisseur of fun. He loves tennis balls, excels at fetch, enjoys tug-of-war, and plays gently with stuffed toys without destroying them. He also enjoys chewing on a bone and relaxing on the couch after a day of adventures.

Starry also loves easy-paced walks with a lot of time for sniffs and rolling in the grass!

In the home, he snoozes the day away in the crate while his humans are away. He’s also reliably housetrained and holds his business for 10+ hours while his foster is at work. When his people are home, Starry enjoys cuddling on the couch and will follow you from room to room like a shadow.

If you're looking for a loving, well-mannered companion who can be playful when it's time for fun and calm when it's time to relax, Starry Knight may be the perfect match for your family.

Meet Chili Flake ❤️‍🔥🥰— A Playful and Sweet Cutie Pie!

Don't let her spicy name fool you. Chili Flake is a 100% certified, low-heat, total baby angel! At 2 years old and a perfect, compact 42 pounds, she is ready to add just the right amount of flavor and a whole lot of love to your life!

Chili loves playtime! Shes happy to entertain herself with toys or running around a yard, but is also always down for a game of tug or fetch! She loves toys, splashing in water and pools, easy-going walks and yard time.

In playgroup, she’s done really well hanging out with doggos at the shelter, matching their energy to play or to coexist. When she is ready for a break, Chili is a great communicator and will gently correct them to make space. She would fit in best with another chill dog who respects boundaries, but would be more than happy to be the only pet soaking up all the attention herself!

She was abandoned by her original owner and the family member who was left with her couldn’t keep her because Chili wasn’t a good fit for a kitty friend. Girly has so much love to give - adopt her today!! ❤️

Chili is a Lifesaver Dog and needs an adopter, committed foster or adopter by the end of June. She comes with free supplies and training to help for a smooth transition back into a home.

Meet Buckee. ❤️

At 13 years old and just 12 pounds, Buckee is looking for a soft place to land for his golden years.

This little guy loves food, loves attention, and would happily spend all day curled up next to his favorite person. He's a total velcro dog who wants to know what you're doing, where you're going, and whether there's room for him on your lap.

Buckee is partially deaf, has a mild heart murmur, and only has a few teeth left, but he doesn't let any of that slow him down. Because of his age, he does have frequent potty accidents indoors, so he'll need a family that understands that senior dogs sometimes come with a few extra quirks.

What Buckee wants most is simple: someone to love him, include him, and let him spend his days close by. In return, he'll give you plenty of snuggles and the kind of devotion only a little old dog can.

We think that's a pretty good deal. ❤️
