Mama Michelle & Angel Annie’s Foster Home Fostering cats with my angel from above My companion, Annie, crossed the rainbow bridge and it was probably the most difficult thing I’ve ever experienced.

I decided I would foster cats in her memory. Before she came into my life, she was found with nine kittens, seven were three-weeks old and two were newborns. The newborns were thought to be orphans she took in. She was the most selfless cat I’ve ever met and overlooked many times. Had she not had a foster home available, I would have never had her in my life and I want to give other people and cat

Louise got early Christmas presents from her finder Rachel! She won’t have to worry about her meat tube supply for a while and she has a new catnip toy to wear out!

We visited Louise for Thanksgiving!

I think she remembered me. I held her and she let out low growls. I had a meat tube left in my purse so she of course got a treat.

One of her dog aunties managed to eat all of her food…twice. She came in and out of her room to join the party several times. She really is social, just on her own terms.

She goes on walks every week. She gets playtime everyday. She’s still very chatty and bossy. She yells for her grandparents to let her out of her corner of the house while her mom’s sleeping. They like when she growls while eating and call them “nom noms”.

One of these kittens had a p**p accident and another tried to cover it up so they all got baths. I’ll let you guess who.

Eugene (aka Gigi, Geege, or Bavarian Boy) is the calmest kitten but he can get a little too aggressive playing with Keith and Becky. He talks when he’s slightly inconvenienced. He’s the leader of the pack as he sets the schedule for his brother and sister. They check to see what he’s doing to see if it’s time for a drink or snack, to go to the bathroom, or to take a nap or bath.

He loves belly rubs and isn’t self-conscious about his primordial pouch or his lack of fur in particular areas. He’s a floppy and tolerant boy. He likes a good nap on the couch cuddling the backs of your knees and will move to the floor to cool off. Speaking of, he lays on top of the vents when the AC is on.

His favorite toys are puff balls. He’ll sometimes growl when he has one in his mouth even when no one’s around to steal it. In the mornings, I’ll find puff balls hidden in the covers because he wants to play fetch.

He’s a strange one. He can sleep in any position and his favorite spot on the bed is on top of my second pillow. And boy does he sleep HARD. He sploots on the floor. He’s incapable of drinking water normally, he has to swim in the air with one paw.

Eugene is a loner. He doesn’t mind whether or not he has a cat friend.
