Hi everyone! Just a quick update. Unfortunately we are still pausing services until we can nail down our new space. I’m just as eager to get back into grooming your doods as you are! My personal doods are still being groomed by me. Enjoy some recent grooms by me of them!

Harper was recently casted for another project in St. Louis! The team on site were over the moon with her and her gorgeous coat 😍 I also started a new job where Harper is coming with me daily. My clients (primarily kids) loooove her.

Layla’s season average had her ranked #1 in Junior Dock Diving for the 2024 season. Harper got a junior dock title and Layla got a senior dock title this summer. Alfie is set to get his first dock diving title soon. Harper and Layla have received their first title in AKC Fetch. Alfie is about to get his second title in FastCAT. Navy has started dock diving and FastCAT, too. We have been training for rally and about to dip our toes into barn hunt. We have stayed very busy!

Tonight’s groom, Winnie, is ready for February! After this week there is a pause on grooms to attend to some big changes in our life. HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Happy New Year, Doods! We have had great success in our few months of grooming. It has been so fun to try new styles, get to know new pups and get to know the incredible human owners, too! I started Sweet Doods Grooming to help out some fellow doodle owners get the “teddy bear” look and use the money to pay for my personal dogs. This has given us the opportunity to start new dog sports and even book paid film gigs in St. Louis. It was a huge blessing, to say the least.

After reflecting on the many blessings this has brought for me and my family, it makes it so hard to announce that we have decided to move to St. Louis at the beginning of summer to continue our dog hobbies and be closer to my family who live there. For my couple of clients in the St. Louis area, this comes as great news for you (reach out if you’re interested in information on joining my client list). For everyone else, I know this isn’t what you want to hear. I will be wrapping up grooms here at sometime in April to have time to prepare for our move. I will not take on any new clients OR take anyone off of the wait list. Some of you may decide to find a new groomer now so that your dog can bond with the groomer they will see long term, I fully understand and support that. Some of you will utilize me up until the last minute, I understand that too! Clients will continue to have priority in booking and I’ll post available appointments to this page.

Thank you for trusting me with your doods. I have such a great group of dogs that I see regularly that I (and my dogs) will miss. If you find yourself in the St. Louis area and want to squeeze in a groom, you’re welcome to reach out and I’ll do my best to make it work as a thank you for supporting my small business getting off the ground this fall!

Mr. Gus came for a puppy cut today! I mean come on. What a cutie! The loud dryer was a little scary at first but we recruited some friends for emotional support. I love puppy cuts. We take it slow, introduce things with positive reinforcement and take breaks. The goal? A positive experience. Shout out to Gus’ mom because he had ✨no mats✨ 😃.
