It’s the time you’ve all been waiting for… Mythic Mudi is proud to announce the confirmation of our highly anticipated Icarus x Gaia pairing:

The Elementals Litter! 🛘 🌊 🔥 💨

Gaia was confirmed to be pregnant with 8+ puppies, and we are overjoyed that this years-in-the-making litter is finally coming to fruition!

We expect puppies that will be high drive, quick twitch, competitive sport dogs while maintaining the beautiful breed type and wonderfully sound temperament that their parents have.

☀️ Icarus 🪽 is formally known as:

Overall Disc-CH X1 UNJCH NI URO1 RACEM BIMISC INT’CH UCH CH Wodan's Sidewinder Special SPOT ETD BCAT Total Dog x8 CFD AFD W-CFD XQ-WME DQ-TTMDE DQ-FMDB NF NAJ NA DJ 9 Time Skyhoundz World Finalist

He is a heavily accomplished sport dog who excels in any venue you point him towards. He was exclusively owner handled to a triple championship for his AKC, UKC and International championship. He is a go everywhere, do everything, and be around everyone kind of dog that is a dream to be the working partner of. His work ethic is amazing and he is a rare mudi that is wonderful with repetition and loves to work with his handler.

He has traveled around the country with us to show and do world level sports, he is confident in all new environments, can be passed off to Jr handlers he doesn’t know, visit with small children, and is safe with small animals. As an intact male he is wonderful with other intact males and a dream in a large multi dog pack.

As a family member, Icarus is kind, gentle and easy to live with. He is so easy to fall in love with that he easily became a core member of our household that we cannot imagine life without. A heart dog and a best friend through and through.

🌳 Gaia 🌸 formally known as -

UBISS RACEA DASH NatJR IntJR HnrJR Int’lCH UCH GCH McPotter’s Creek’s Gaia BCAT Total Dogx5

Due to her exceptional structure and beautiful breed type, most of Gaia’s career has been focused on showing. She is a ham for the limelight and loves to be the center of everyone’s attention. She was shown to Grand Champion by pure owner handling in AKC, earning her last Majors back to back at our breed specialty and supported entry in August. Gaia also has her UKC and international championships via owner handling as well as multiple UKC and AKC NOHS Group Placements.

Now that we have wrapped up her show career besides the occasional big show, Gaia is in her Sporty Era and has started to focus on training for more competitive sports.

She loves disc, dock and coursing, and is an enthusiastic training partner. She is more typical of a mudi in that she must think the training is fun and rewarding to enjoy, but she is smart as a whip and loves working with her person.

Gaia’s temperament is exceptional - she loves all people and can be handed off to anyone without issue. She thrives in busy environments with strangers doting on her, but isn’t a pushy rude dog that drags us to see people. She is simply happy to bask in the affection of people who are interested in her.

She is a little more true to Mudi in that she can be vocal, but over all is easy to live with. An amazing off switch combined with her confidence, friendliness with all dogs, small animals and people makes her a wonderful family member.

Both Gaia and Icarus are fully healthy tested through OFA and have been exposed to livestock. They show great, correct herding instinct and ability, truly renaissance dogs.

🕵️‍♂️ We are currently accepting applications to screen to add a couple more people to our wait list. Our ideal home would be one who is active in sports competitively or is determined to start their path to competing in sports with their new best friend.

We place puppies by best fit first and foremost and raise with modified puppy culture to include additional sport foundations, kennel training, and started in training skills.

For more information please PM us or fill out our application linked in the comments, or at the top of our profile.

Available Sport/Show home! For the right co own we are willing to mentor in show/sport/all things mudi!

St Louis MO area with transport available. We are in Chattanooga TN at Skyhoundz finals with him from 9/14-9/21 and have a few options from here if you are close to the east coast.

Last minute availability, Cruise person had a medical emergency with their dog and can’t go forward with taking him.

Because of that we are seeking the perfect home for our squishy man.

🤎 Cruise is a brown bob tail male with a beautiful cinnamon shaded coat.

🏈 Temperament wise, Cruise is a good natured jock who is just a cool bro. He is very go with the flow, doesn’t get his feathers ruffled by much, and tolerates all his bratty sisters annoying shenanigans without being bratty in return. After activity and play he has a great off switch and enjoys napping (spread eagle upside down 🤪) with his person.

🎖️ We feel by how he looks at 8 weeks that he could be a competitive show prospect, but he could also be a perfect active companion or sport prospect.

🧸 Toy Drive! Toys are his jam. He absolutely is feral for tugging, chasing toys and gives them the ol “razzle dazzle” shaking them. He has fetch foundations and is extremely eager to engage even with strangers.

🍔 Food Drive! If you can’t tell by the routine physique, Cruise loves him some food. He lures, does puzzle toys, and works for anyone who is willing to offer him a tasty snack!

💅 He is started in training foundations with luring and clicker/marker words. He has been exposed to swimming, scent work oils, rat scent, and basic toy foundations with tugs, discs and balls.

💪 We feel he will be in the 18 inch range and 30 lb range. He has wonderful substance and is a nice sturdy guy.

🏠 The ideal home for him would be an active, dog experienced person who wants to keep him busy, bonus points to someone who wants to show and do competitive sports!

If you are interested, please fill out our application and shoot us a message and we will reach back out ASAP!

Is it almost time to pack our bags?! The Tourists just hit 6 weeks! ✈️

These little jet-setters have the weeks flying by, and we just aren’t ready for them to be heading to their new adventures so soon. 🥹

Bold, outgoing, and always looking for their next adventure, this group has completely blown past every expectation we set at departure.

Here is what’s currently on their travel schedule:

First-Class Upgrades: Learning luring, clicker mechanics, and how to start a good game of tug and fetch.

Sightseeing in Style: Practicing their conformation show stacks right up on the grooming table like total pros.

A Quick Pitstop: Keeping their litter box area clean and reliably taking their bathroom breaks outside.

They’re high-drive, super social, and constantly keeping us on our toes. To match their growing energy, they’re moving into another upgraded pen setup this weekend!

Final Call for boarding : We still have two handsome boys looking for their perfect travel partners. If you’re ready to add a new sidekick to your adventures, reach out or send in an application! 🌝

The best part about coming home from Nationals? THE TOURISTS! 😍

We have ears, eyes, and are eating some solid foods! This week we start potty training, they get more handling, socialization, and start playing with toys. Potty training has already begun and they all got to ride in a kennel together. This is the age where we start to see them become FUN!

At this time we are still taking applications for Show and Sport 🏠! We place puppies based on best fit, not first come, first serve basis. This is a wonderful pairing focused on lovely conformation prospects and amazing pets. Feel free to PM us for a link to our application, or follow the link pinned in the post at the top of our page and in our bio.

Here is our 2026 Nationals Recap!

We had an amazing time at the 2026 Mudi Club of America’s Regional and National Specialty! We had a wonderful time seeing old friends, meeting long time online friends, and meeting new Mudi enthusiasts. There were a few bumps in the road but nothing that could overshadow the incredible time we had.

Going Left to Right 👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽

🎩Mad Hatter🎩

Hatter took Best Altered Dog and Best Altered Overall! He got lots of wonderful feedback from judges and ringside breed experts. We are so thankful to our family who let us take Mad Hatter up to PA to participate in the Altered Class at Nationals. He got to play in FastCat as well running 9.3 seconds his first time on the track!

Hatter is now…

🪷Lily🪷

Lily, freshly 7 years old, participated in Veterans at the National and was awarded Best Veteran over some incredible dogs! We were honored to take home the amazing trophy dedicated to the unforgettable Westminster Best of Breed Winner, Twisted Acres Wish Upon a Star “Nyota”. We will cherish this trophy while we have it for the next year, until the next year when the next National Veteran winner can have the honor.

🚀Rocket🚀

Rocket, at 9 years old, was also playing in the Veteran classes! He earned Best of Opposite S*x Veteran in Sweepstakes at the National Specialty. Rocket not only made a great showing in the Veteran Classes but also won the Stud Dog Sweepstakes, thanks to his talented and beautiful daughters Swift and Mixie! He also earned his Dock Master Advanced Title in NADD jumping 17’! I will never take for granted how well Rocket has continued to age, staying active, staying spry, and I hope that doesn’t change for a long-long time.

🌳Gaia🌳

Gaia had a wonderful showing in conformation! During the Regional Specialty and the Supported Entry Gaia took Select Bitch getting two 5-point majors to finish her Grand Championship! Gaia finished her Grand Championship with 4 Major Wins, in 3 weekends of showing with competition, completely Owner Handled. She wanted to make sure she smashed my goal for her which was to finish her Grand Championship before she was bred this fall!

☀️Icarus☀️

Icky did not play in the conformation ring but he did show up to earn some new performance titles! He earned almost 70 points towards his DCAT and finished out his Dock Junior Title! Icarus has been killing it in sports this year, finishing his NAJ, NF, and NA titles in agility. Then he has ✨7 more world qualifier placements✨ for Skyhoundz world finals this year.

⚓️Odyssey⚓️

Odyssey has had very limited showing but at the National Specialty he was awarded Winners Dog! This is an incredibly special ribbon to us, the last time we attended Nationals in 2024 Rocket was the recipient of the National Specialty Winners Dog to finish his Championship. Odyssey has 3 Major Wins and only 2 more single points needed to finish.

Special mention to a dog not pictured,
🧚‍♀️Saga🧚‍♀️

Saga has been living with her new co-owners in Virginia, killing it in disc, dock, and being a wonderful ambassador! Saga hasn’t done any showing for over a year now so we were nervous she wouldn’t remember how to stand and gait in the ring. However, she hitched a ride up Wednesday and immediately showed she remembered everything and has matured so wonderfully since we saw her last!

Our judge on Thursday agreed and at the Regional Specialty Saga was awarded Reserve Winners B*tch for a 3 point major, her second major needed to finish her Championship! But Saga didn’t stop there, she ran 8.220 in fastcat her first time ever and she also was the furthest jumping Senior Division Lap Dog for the weekend. Saga earned an amazing dock ribbon from the MCA!

Thank you again to the Mudi Club of America and the Nationals Committee and Board Members for making this Nationals a possibility. Thank you to our ring stewards, those who volunteered, and the judges that saw our dogs in a huge competitive line-up. 💕

08/01/2026

Today down in Texas little Ms Worthy earned a Group 4 and Group 2 win! The ICKC show was such a good experience for her, getting to practice twice in one day and get some great Group Ring experience. 💕

Congrats to co-breeder and co-owner Cloey, over at Flying Dog Ranch Mudi! And of course her other mom Millie 💕. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this special little girl!

07/31/2026

Tomorrow we start packing and prepping to make the 13 hour drive to Lebanon, Pennsylvania for the 2026 Mudi Club of America National! The dogs are entered in conformation, fastcat, and dock diving! We are so excited to be immersed in all things Mudi for a few days. Take a look at our two page ad for the catalog!

For those of you that have asked, no The Travelers will not be traveling along this time! Their safety is of the upmost priority and taking them on a cross country road trip to a giant dog show cluster is not what they need. Don’t worry though, they are in safe hands with friends and family that have first hand experience with our puppy rearing process!

If we were to video our travels and time at Nationals what would you want to see?

07/28/2026

Happy first week birthday to The Travelers!

Time for some introductions! Everyone is gaining well, have intermittent objections about ENS, and overall being a lovely, lively litter. Zemi has continued to be a 5-star mom taking care of her babies every whim!

This is the “easy stage” where they just eat, p**p, p*e, and sleep for the bast majority of the day. The most thrilling parts of their day are cuddles, twice a day weigh ins, and ENS/ESI.

I just know that one day soon their eyes will be open, their ears will be open, and they will be running through the house! Most likely chomping on any misfortunate ankle, toy, or sibling in-front of them with their needle teeth! So we are hoping to cherish this quiet, peaceful time for as long as possible. 💕

07/20/2026

There is a profound, quiet weight to the hours before new life arrives. We have been awake since Saturday morning, moving through thick mud of sleep deprivation with only a few hours of sleep. Our focus has been entirely bound to Zemi her needs, wants, and comfort.

Breeding is rarely easy, and moments like these demand a specific kind of patience and endurance. Zemi tested us all with a long, drawn-out first stage of labor that stretched over thirty-six exhausting hours. It was a heavy road, nights filled with constant alarms for check-ins, soft pets mixed with words of reassurance, and waiting for her body to decide it was time.

We double and triple checked with experienced breeder friends and our vet to confirm all was on course, but despite that we were still anxious as we awaited the arrival of our little Tourists.

When the moment finally arrived, Zemi reminded us once again of the grace and experience she carries. We were so nervous importing a pregnant bitch from Hungary, so much unknown on both sides. Would she trust us handling her and the babies? Would she whelp okay?

Once active labor began, she delivered six beautiful, vibrant puppies in under four hours with remarkable efficiency and calm. It cannot be over stated how wonderful she is. She is a remarkable mother, attentive and careful, devoted to her babies in a way that could brings tears to the eyes of even the most seasoned breeders.

Zemi is an extraordinary addition in our program, and I am forever grateful for the honor of loving her, trusting her, and welcoming this next generation of Mudi into the world by her side. Individually, formal introductions will come in the next few days. Right now, we just want to sit in this moment and appreciate this gift.

Thank you Kaszás Emese from for letting Zemi come to the USA, pairing her with the incredible Grand Mariner, and organizing her safe travels.

It is our honor to formally introduce…
