💙Wally was adopted from LFAR as a puppy.
😞Unfortunately after 7 years with his family, circumstances have changed and Wally is finding himself in need of a new family.
🐶Good with other dogs
🐱Good with cats
👧🏻Good with kids
🏠Housebroken and crate trained
🌎Located in St Louis MO area
🚗We currently are open to qualified foster families in TN GA AL MO MS KY OH IN IL SC NC VA WV MD DE PA and can assist with transport to these states. Please understand we are not open to other states due to not having the resources there nor the volunteers to transport to that state.

Wally is a laid-back, loving goofball.

We provide for all of the dog’s financial needs during fostering. You provide the love and understanding ❤️ with guidance from our experienced volunteers.

We do have high standards for our fosters as we do want to provide our dogs with better than the poor circumstances many come from. So all pets in home must have history of standard vaccines (rabies and dhpp/ we will accept titer testing) and heartworm prevention (for dogs). All pets must be altered (spayed/neutered) unless medically ill advised or too young to safely alter.

🚨 THIS POST IS FOR EVERYONE WHO SAYS “I WISH I COULD HELP.” 🚨
Good news: you CAN. And we need you NOW.

Lucky Farms Animal Rescue is drowning in intake requests.
👉 Over a dozen dogs in just the last few days.
👉 Some have nowhere else to go.
👉 Some will die if we can’t step in.

Waiting for “someone else” isn’t an option anymore.
It’s YOUR turn.

These dogs come from shelters, owner surrenders, and the streets.
They are young and old, male and female, Great Danes and Saint Bernards and every single one of them needs help right now.

🐾 WHAT WE NEED MOST: FOSTERS

No foster = no rescue = death. It’s that simple.

❓ “BUT I CAN’T FOSTER BECAUSE…”

Let’s bust some myths 👇

🏡 “I don’t live near you.”
Perfectly fine! We have fosters in TN, KY, GA, AL, MS, MO, OH, IL, IN, SC, NC, VA, WV, MD, DE, and PA and we can arrange help. Not local? Your area still needs help too. Reach out to a local rescue or shelter. They need you.

🐶🐱👶 “I have other pets or kids.”
Great! Our dogs are dog-friendly, and we temperament test before placement to make sure it’s a good fit.

❤️ “I’d get too attached.”
Even better. We LOVE foster failures and offer foster-to-adopt for that exact reason.

💸 “Big dogs are expensive.”
While fostering, WE pay for vet care and can even provide food. You provide love and a safe place.

🤷‍♀️ “I’ve never fostered before.”
None of us started as experts! We’ll pair you with a mentor foster and guide you every step of the way.

📦 “I don’t have room.”
You can still help!

St. Louis County Animal Care and Control is trying something it has never been able to do until now—waive adoption fees. It’s the first event approved under the county’s new ordinance, which was initially met with backlash from the overcrowded shelter.
