Happy Juneteenth from Right Fit Companions!!

Today, we honor the strength, resilience, and enduring legacy of those who fought for freedom. Juneteenth marks the day when the last enslaved African Americans learned they were free—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

As we celebrate freedom, we also reflect on the sacrifices made, the progress achieved, and the work that continues. Let this day be a reminder of our history, our culture, and the power of unity.

🧺🌯 BLANKET EMERGENCY 🌯🧺

The dogs at the shelter are officially entering their “burrito era”… but we’re running out of blankets to keep them cozy.

Just ask Baby Mamma and Barbara Ann. They’ve clearly mastered the art of being wrapped up like tiny four-legged enchiladas, and honestly? They would very much like to keep the snuggle lifestyle going. 💛

Right now, the shelter is critically low on blankets and cozy bedding. These simple items make a HUGE difference for scared, stressed shelter pets. A soft blanket gives them warmth, comfort, and a small sense of security while they wait for families of their own.

We are asking the community to help us restock the cuddle supply cabinet!

🧺 Needed:
• Blankets
• Towels
• Comforters
• Fleece throws

📍 Donations can be dropped off anytime during shelter business hours.

Help us keep the dogs warm, cozy, and wrapped like the adorable little burritos they were born to be. 🌯🐾
