Often after starting raised beds they get compacted and need a little more to keep things going strong. This morning I dropped of some raised bed soil and peat moss to top off the new beds at S.P. Livingston where and have been working together to get the kids outside for the Less screen more green initiative!! I’m so proud of these children and the opportunity to share my knowledge with them!

Getting the soil ready for sod in the farm courtyard!! Excited for those summertime movie nights!! We kicked off the process with organic w**d elimination using high-strength vinegar instead of glyphosate to minimize chemical residue. This approach will foster a healthier environment for the soil to thrive as the sod takes root and becomes a haven for microbial life!
