Meet Lil Nug! Miss Nug a bug showed up at Chloe's house in the 2018 snowstorm. She was able to get into the catio, but not back out, officially finding her forever home. Nug turns 10 today and loves grooming other cats, looking cute, and drooling like crazy. Her top canines never came in, so she shows off her tongue like no other kitty. Nug is also the best road trip buddy a girl could have, she's done great her two big trips for radiation on her nose for skin cancer. She rides sh***un and watches the cars go by.

Our team had a blast learning the most up to date studies and veterinary techniques at the Western Veterinary Conference in Nashville last week! We spent 3.5 days in the classroom learning about a variety of subjects affecting the pets we see daily, and we are excited to bring that knowledge to your pets' care!
Classes ended at 5 daily, so as an added bonus, we were able to kick up our heels and enjoy the city!

Have you met Betty? Black Betty is a much loved 10 year old lady. She's been official hospital supervisor at Stewart's for 7 years after being found on the Blue Ridge Parkway by a former staff member. Betty can usually be found in chairs we go to sit in, lounging in the sun, supervising from her bed during appointment hours, or watching birds in the window. She also enjoys helping fill meds, taking inventory in the closet and cabinets, and making her rounds before closing. Next time you see her be sure to give her some love!!

Did you know?
Male cats are more likely to be left pawed, while females are more likely to be right. What about dogs though? Intact dogs follow the same pattern, although, spayed and neutered dogs don't show a clear difference.

Meet Hilo! Hilo is Kevin's 4 month old Vizsla/Weimaraner. He is the happiest and most energetic new addition. Hilo is playful, curious, and always ready for adventure. He's learning quickly from his big brother Niko, but is growing into a wonderful companion while keeping his parents entertained along the way!
