We were hit by the tornado Saturday night, and while we are so thankful everyone (including the pups!) are safe, our home and kennel did sustain some damage. Luckily, we did get power back recently thanks to the quick work of the linemen!🩶⚡️

Because of this, we will need to cancel and reschedule some boarding appointments this week as we focus on cleanup, repairs, and making sure everything is safe and ready for your pups again.

🐾❤️ I just want to say how incredibly grateful we are for this community. The messages, prayers, and offers for meals and help have meant more to us than I can put into words. We truly feel so supported and blessed.

To those affected by schedule changes, I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and grace more than you know. We have reached out individually as needed and will do everything we can to get back up and running as quickly as possible.

Thank you for loving and supporting our family and our little business—it does not go unnoticed.

"Just a quarter to half inch of ice? What's the big deal?"

Ice is HEAVY, and when it falls in the form of freezing rain, it sticks to everything. Every leaf, branch, and twig on a tree gathering ice adds up to a lot of weight in a hurry.

Worst-case scenario for this weekend could bring some 0.5" totals to Central Texas. On a 30ft wide tree, that adds up to more than 7,000 pounds of ice, or roughly 109.5 fully-grown golden retrievers. That's enough to send some limbs tumbling into powerlines in some instances.

The last couple of months have been a blur here at Wolff Den — full kennels, happy chaos, and lots of wagging tails. While it got busy behind the scenes, our focus never changed: loving and caring for your pups like they’re our own.
