All good horses go to heaven without a tail… they each touch your heart in their own way and das bear left quite the mark for only being in my life two years. He started as a free horse who needed a soft place to land while I found him the perfect home, it wasn’t but a few months into owning him that I knew he would be mine forever. So many hopes and dreams died with him last night.

The beginning of this summer mouse lost her baby after carrying her for 318 days. A few weeks ago my childhood friend Emily lost her life in a tragic horse accident, two days ago we had to say goodbye to my partners dog and now das Bear. I am not sure how we will get past the immeasurable sadness but I do know I’m beyond thankful for the love and support of my family and friends.

To my wonderful clients I promise I will be back but for now I will be taking some time off to process our grief and hug my girls extra tight.

Mouse had her first race back in almost a year this weekend and I am so happy to be back. Thanks to Denise Brandley I got a cool rider pov video which is definitely my new favorite view! We had some bobbles and still managed a 3D time, I’m really happy with how she worked and excited to get her really dialed this winter.

Dropped Maverick off at his new home today at Martson Farm Highland Cattle where he will teach the young ranch hands the ropes and eventually help gather. I pride myself in trying my best to find the perfect homes for each horse I place but I think Mav won the lottery with his new people💛

✨SOLD✨ to the most wonderful home where she is already very loved💛

“Deedee”registered name (she’s blue diamond) is a 16h 2018 OTTB mare, she is ready for her next career. I’ve spent the last year slowly and methodically restarting her on the ground and in the saddle, has all of the basics down just needs finishing in your discipline of choice. Best suited for intermediate or advanced rider although I have put a couple beginners on her and believe with the help of a trainer they would be fine. She stands for the farrier, has really solid feet and does well barefoot. Has very limited trail experience but will continue to be taken out regularly until sold. Was stalled all winter and does weave but is just fine with consistent work. Gets along with just about every horse I’ve put her out with but has a bit of a boss mare mentality, the biggest Con for her is she is buddy sour but that is continuing to improve with training. She unfortunately does not come with papers.

Just got home from the second day of Warwick Schiller's Attuned Horsemanship clinic. Bear got the call for this one and boy am I glad he did! With only about two and a half months of him being a priority in preparation for this clinic I had low expectations of what we would accomplish. Bear has been previously known to buck under saddle mostly at the canter and I have ridden him very minimally while I worked on other horses and spent a lot of time fixing his feet. Well not only did he work beautifully on the ground yesterday but today we rode and he was super relaxed and responsive at the walk and the trot so we even did a little cantering! Beth Harrison I can’t thank you enough for the opportunity to do this clinic (best early birthday present ever) and for supporting this journey I’ve been on even before you understood why I was doing it😂 Denise Brandley thank you for letting me borrow your trailer and saving me many extra miles of hauling! Also big thank you to 100x equine for sponsoring the clinic and the goodie bag, it was the cherry on top of a perfect weekend.

This stunning 2020 Mare is ready for her person! Elle is 15.1hh, has a really solid start on her, W/T/C, moves off legs, haunch and forehand turns. She is learning to neck rein, is very soft in a 3 piece snaffle and has a solid understanding of collection. While I would consider Elle safe for beginners she still has some more training needed in order to be the show partner she is capable of being so I would recommend an intermediate rider or an advanced beginner working with a trainer. I would love to see her go to an OHSET home, I feel she could be really versatile!

Elle has been kept barefoot her entire life and stands well for the farrier, does well in a stall and outside, has gotten along with every horse I’ve turned her out with and is overall a very easy keeper.

She has been genetically tested and is PSSM n/p she is kept on a low sugar diet because of this but is non symptomatic

Fiona rocked her first trip to “town” at a gaming show with 100 entries. She was unsure of herself at times and wanted to stay close to her new buddies but stood quietly at the trailer and in line. Walking right out when it was her turn and doing patterns she’s never seen before😂 this was maybe her 10th ride since I’ve had her and previous to that she sat for a couple years after being started. She didn’t care about the loud speaker, the tractor or the kids running around playing. I love the minds POA’s have and I know she will make someone an awesome family horse with time. Keep an eye out for her sale ad! Or message me for more info☺️

Who wants to trail ride? My barns arena is flooded for the time being so the 24th and 25th I will be taking some clients to Elijah Bristol to ride and have extra time. Some horse experience is necessary but I have enough safe horses to bring two people out at a time, minimum of an hour ride but longer rides can also be accommodated. Message me for scheduling and more info!
