Congratulations go out to Melissa Briggs and Amanda McGinty on great rides and placings in the ODS Stars, Stripes and Steeds Virtual Dressage Show. Results are in and Melissa and her "Regis" won the Intro A and B classes with Amanda and "Baelfire" a very close second. Amanda and "Baelfire" had an impressive ride in Intro Test C earning them the top score for that test. Awesome progress for both teams and so proud of each.
With great effort and creativity, Melissa and "Regis" were the winners of the costume class. Very patriotic and apropos for the Independence Day holiday!

🐴 The Rider's Neutral Pelvis Position

This drawing shows three different possible positions of the dressage rider's pelvis. The imaginary bucket of water in your pelvis should help you to see the effects of the different angles of the rider's pelvis. You can see how the change of the angle of the pelvis shifts the rider's center of gravity, and therefore tips the bucket.
