Does your dog seem friendly off leash but reactive on walks? 🐶 Leash aggression can happen for many reasons, including frustration, fear, or overstimulation.

At Hounds Town, off-leash pack play removes the barrier of the leash, allowing dogs to communicate naturally through body language and build positive social skills. That's one reason routine structured daycare can be so beneficial for pups. 💙

October is Pet Wellness Month! 🐾💙 Wellness is about more than routine checkups – it's daily exercise, socialization, and enrichment through play.
At Hounds Town, our goal is to provide an environment that allows Townies to stay happy, healthy and thriving all year long.

Life's just better as a Townie. 🐾💙
A day at Hounds Town means new friends, plenty of play, and a safe place where dogs can simply be dogs.

Ever picked up your pup from daycare only to have them sleep the rest of the evening? 😴 That's what we call the Hounds Town Hangover!
A full day of running, playing, making friends, and being part of the pack leaves Townies happy, fulfilled, and ready for a well-earned nap. We'd call that a successful day.

Every Townie starts with a meet-and-greet! 🐾
Our temperament test lets us get to know your dog. We evaluate their play style, energy level, and social skills so our dog management experts can match them with the right specialized playgroup where they'll feel safe and confident. 💙

During , we're celebrating the incredible dogs who prove that hearing isn't what makes a great companion. With patience, communication, and understanding, deaf dogs can live happy, active lives just like any other pup.
At Hounds Town, we believe every dog deserves a safe place to play and be part of the pack. 💙

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation was forever changed.
Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the extraordinary courage of those who answered the call to help.
For Hounds Town, that remembrance is deeply personal. Our founder, Mike Gould, was among the many first responders who served at Ground Zero in the days following the attacks. Alongside firefighters, police officers, paramedics, volunteers, and countless others were hundreds of working dogs and their handlers – searching through the rubble, offering comfort, and serving with unwavering dedication.
Their courage, sacrifice, and service will never be forgotten.
Today, we pause to honor those we lost, those who served, and the human and canine heroes who stood together in one of our nation’s darkest moments.. ❤️🤍💙
