We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented ADULT to join our team as a kennel assistant. May also train for a duel front desk postion. 20-25 hours a week. As a kennel assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our furry guests.
Your responsibilities will include providing food, water, and exercise to a variety of animals, cleaning and maintaining living spaces, and assisting with medications.
You will work closely with our team to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all animals under our care. Stop in to apply.
Responsibilities:
🐾Feed and water animals according to established schedules and procedures
🐾Clean and sanitize animal living areas, including removing waste and soiled bedding
🐾Exercise animals and provide enrichment activities as directed
🐾Assist with routine medical procedures such as administering medications and providing first aid
🐾Monitor animal behavior and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
🐾Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners and visitors
🐾Follow all safety and health protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all staff and animals
13-16 an hr. based on experience.
Must have a flexible schedule as we schedule based on the amount of dogs we have. Weekends are busy! Typically 5 hr shifts.
