She's about two years old and was adopted and returned when it was no longer convenient for the family to have a pet.

She is on the shy side at first and used to living with two adults who had to surrender her due to their injuries from a car accident.

Meet CHARLOTTE

She's a recent owner assist ER case TODAY who found herself in need of emergency surgery.

Accidents happen.
That's why they are called accidents.

However, many accidents can be avoided if we could turn back time.

This beautiful 10 year old Tortie girl somehow inhaled/ate a balloon left in the house and was obstructed in need of emergency surgery to save her life.

WOW has committed to fund $550 but the family could use an additional $550 to help with the remainder of their portion when she's ready to leave her hospitalization.

Meet this sweet and incredibly shy senior girl, AMBROSIA.

She was found months ago injured and somewhat sickly and unwell...

Her teeth were broken and damaged and she was so scared and in pain. Thanks to her wonderful foster and vet care she's on the mend and enjoying snuggles and her health is restored.

She would love a calm adult home that will allow her time to bloom and open up. We are all falling in love with her and can't wait to see her turn into the most beautiful girl.

We had such a wonderful community response to Friday's Kitten Case! The detail so many of you provided in the comments is a true testament to how knowledgeable and resourceful this community is.

The answer to Friday's Can You Crack the Kitten Case? was coccidiosis.

What is coccidiosis? It's an intestinal tract infection caused by coccidia, a protozoan (single-celled) parasite — not a worm, despite living in the intestines. The two most common species found in cats are Isospora felis and Isospora rivolta. Coccidiosis can be serious or even life-threatening in kittens due to their underdeveloped immune systems, health status, concurrent illness, and parasite load.

Meet VERONICA
This laid back girl is about 4 years young. She prefers a calm setting with adults and no small kiddos or busy dogs. We think she might enjoy the company of another laid back feline. She will be ready in a few weeks for a FOREVER home and will be taking applications to see who might be the purrrrrfect fit based on family, lifestyle and cat experience.
