A Friendly Reminder to Our Community

We love animals, and we know how heartbreaking it is to find a stray kitten or cat in need. Because of that, we want to clarify something that is often misunderstood.
We are a veterinary clinic—not an animal shelter or rescue. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept kittens or cats of any age, as we do not have the space, staff, or financial resources to house and care for stray or surrendered animals.
Many of the kittens that have been adopted through our clinic were not taken in by the clinic itself. They were independently rescued, bottle-raised, fostered, and cared for by one of our incredibly generous veterinary technicians, who volunteered their own time, opened their own home, and often covered many of the expenses themselves. Those adoptions were made possible through their personal dedication—not because our clinic operates as a rescue.
We also understand that veterinary care can be expensive, and we wish we could help every animal at no cost. However, we are a small business with employees, medical equipment, medications, and daily operating expenses. If we provided all of our services for free, we would not be able to keep our doors open and continue caring for the pets who depend on us.
If you find a stray or need to surrender an animal, we encourage you to reach out to nearby shelters, rescue organizations, or foster-based rescues that are equipped for that type of care.
Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and support of our team. Your support allows us to continue providing quality veterinary care to the pets and families in our community. ❤️🐾

ITS ALMOST TIIIIIME!

🎆 To humans: Fireworks are exciting!

🐾 To pets: The sky is yelling.

As we gear up for fireworks season, remember that many pets find the loud booms and bright flashes downright terrifying. Some may hide, pace, pant, tremble, or even try to make a surprise escape.

Here are a few ways to help your furry family members stay calm:

✨ Keep pets safely indoors
🎵 Turn on a TV, fan, or calming music to help drown out the noise
🛏️ Create a cozy "safe spot" where they can relax
🏷️ Double-check that collars, ID tags, and microchip information are current
🚪 Be extra careful when opening doors—scared pets can move FAST!

💊 Think your pet may need a little extra help staying calm?

If your pet has not previously been prescribed calming medication, we'll need to see them for an exam before prescribing anything. The Fourth of July has a way of sneaking up on everyone, so don't wait until the last minute to schedule!

Already have a prescription? Now is the perfect time to peek in the medicine cabinet and make sure you have enough on hand. If you need a refill, please call us today so your pet is ready before the fireworks begin.

🎇 A little planning now can make for a much happier holiday later. Give us a call if you have questions or would like to discuss options for your pet!

❤️ Your pet may not appreciate the fireworks, but they'll definitely appreciate your help.
