🖤🐾 Happy National Black Dog Day! 🎃

How fitting is it that the first day of the spookiest month of the year celebrates BLACK DOGS?! Here at Token and Friends Pet Services LLC, we absolutely adore our black dog clients! From their hilarious quirks to their big personalities! Every single one brings something uniquely wonderful into our lives. 🥰

Today also shines a light on “black dog syndrome,” a term used to describe concerns about black dogs being overlooked in shelters. Negative media portrayals, photos that don’t capture their beautiful features, and assumptions that they look “ordinary” can keep people from seeing just how special these pups are. Shelter outcomes vary, but every dog deserves a chance to be loved. 🏡🖤

As always, we’ve included photos of some wonderful clients we’ve been caring for recently, alongside the always lovable Beetle and his new sister Fritz, who bless our lives EVERY DAY with their quirks and amazing personalities! 🐶✨

These pups remind us daily that black dogs can make any home feel special the moment their paws cross the doorway. Their coats may share a color, but their personalities are entirely their own! 🐾

Considering adoption? Give a black dog the chance to steal your heart. And if one already has, drop their photo below so we can celebrate them! 📸🖤

🐾 We may have been quiet… but we definitely haven’t been lazy! 🐾

Sickness has hit the Token & Friends crew pretty hard lately, but we’ve still been working like our favorite working breeds! 💪🐕 Between battling a stomach bug, dealing with our usual migraines, and trying our very best to stay hydrated, we’ve been keeping busy caring for tons of furry, scaly, and four-legged friends! 🐶🐱🦎

And we have to admit… there are definitely worse ways to recover. 🥹❤️

Your furry friends have been some of the BEST cuddle buddies through all of it! From curling up beside us and offering plenty of kisses to keeping us laughing with their goofy personalities, they have a way of reminding us that even on the rough days, there’s always a reason to keep moving forward. 🐾

The best part? We’ve seen SO many sweet cats, dogs, and other amazing creatures lately that they’ve certainly kept us on our toes! 😂 Between all the paws, whiskers, tails, scales, zoomies, snuggles, and slobbery kisses, there’s never a dull moment around here.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible families who continue trusting us with the animals they love most. ❤️

Thank you, SWMO, for sharing your furry friends with us! They keep us moving, keep us smiling, and make even the not-so-great days a whole lot brighter.

We love them ALL so much! 🥰🐾
