Brought home a new friend today! I don’t normally go on video so apologies for the length and my brain losing focus at points. I’m very excited to welcome Relish the Chameleon Gecko to Draaken Cove!

A bittersweet goodbye yesterday. Fawkes has found a new home in NC and is on his way there currently. He gave me 34 beautiful offspring together with Astoria (now passed 💔). With having limited space I had to make the hard decision of selling him to make room for holdbacks. His and Astoria’s genetics will still carry on in my program through their 24’ daughter, Nymphadora, who will hopefully have her first clutch next season.

Tiramisu from the frost clutch is such a sweet thing. He decided to hang out on my hand this morning. I love how chill this clutch is.
I was also pleasantly surprised by a critter who’d found its way inside. Somewhere in the base of the house is a hole or gap and every hard rain I start finding critters seeking refuge. This one was placed back in a pile of leaves once it was safe.

And another one confirmed het for Albino! That makes 10 out of 11 tested heterozygous. I am truly grateful for all the work Rare Genetics Inc has put in to make this possible.
