Update on Coco!

Warning Graphic photos! Unfortunately it’s not a great update.

The owner of Coco has been harassed by a neighbor. The same neighbor that broke the window when both dogs got loose. When the owner was gone someone tried to break into their window AGAIN. The stress, noise, and stranger caused both dogs to get into a fight. They both suffered injuries, but since Coco was already on a healing journey she was hurt the most. Owner used all their funds plus borrowing money to get Coco medical care. She’s now behind on rent! There was a camera inside, but since it was dark you can’t see who tried to break into their home. Both dogs are now healing. If anyone has an outdoor camera they no longer need please let us know. To have someone beat your dog with a pipe, to having someone harassing you, window being broken, and now your animals being so stressed they can’t safely be in their home is outrageous! We need to come together to keep these animals be safe! To make sure no further harm happens to them owner is looking to move. Looking for an apt dog friendly 2 bedroom, first floor if possible for $1600. Owner is also going to be setting up a gofundme to make their rent. If you can help please let us know!

When we raise funds for homeless animals in Puerto Rico these are our exact target ones we get from Walmart. Each bag of dry food has the largest amount of food with a budget friendly price compared to others. We will be posting a bunch of items these next couple days in hopes to get funds for these foods to feed animals on the island. You get to have merch while animals get to have a meal. It’s a win win!

Do you remember Coco who was lost & thankfully found? Coco is now in the ER due to injuries she endured from a pipe and being poisoned! She was seen being abused by a pipe causing injuries that caused difficulty to her walking. If you know who was involved please reach out! No dog deserves this! Be the voice for Coco!

The hot weather is on its way out & the cold fall weather is starting to take over which means we are going to be making our favorite dish of Sancocho! We have been in contact with so many independent rescuers in need of resources to continue helping animals on the island. We want to do our part to help as much as we can. All proceeds we raise will be going into helping the animals on the island. We will be making our first batch of Sancocho this weekend! Order today to make sure you get some!
