We often get asked how much fruit and vegetables do we buy in a week for our babies...the three pictures show a typical week. (With the exception of the iceberg lettuce...that was for us. Iceberg lettuce is very low in nutrients so of course we would only make our own salads with it and never feed it to our parrots. 🤣) Usually there are several kinds of squash but it has been hard to come by lately.
In addition to fruits and vegetables, they eat an assortment of nuts, chicken, shrimp, eggs and parrots biscuits.
They also drink formula with crushed parrots biscuits added. And plenty of fresh water.
