📣 **Club Updates & Upcoming Events**

A few updates following our August board meeting:

🐾 **September Practice – Waterfowl Expo**
Our September practice will be held at the **Waterfowl Expo in Linesville, PA from 10 AM–3 PM**. We’ll be doing dog demonstrations again this year. Last year, this was incredibly popular, drew a great crowd, and brought a lot of new interest and membership to the club.

🦆 **Pheasant Days**
We are still looking for both **volunteers and participants**. More volunteers help keep costs down by assisting with organization and bird planting.

🎯 **New Equipment**
The club will be purchasing upland launchers to support our growing pheasant and upland training membership.

🗳️ **Board Elections**
Board elections will take place toward the end of the year. The board includes the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Director positions.

Thanks to everyone who continues to volunteer, participate, and help the club grow!

**RSVP and payment are due by August 31.** We’re looking forward to a great day of training and another fun club get-together!

Today’s hunt test went smoothly — thank you to everyone who helped!

We’ll be short on volunteers tomorrow for junior/senior (Misc tasks throughout the day.) Our biggest need is setup and teardown.

If you can help, please arrive around 7:45 AM. Every extra set of hands helps keep the test running smoothly and on time!

A huge thank you to Delta Waterfowl Foundation for generously donating duck calls for our gunner stations at our upcoming hunt test! Their continued support of local retriever clubs and the hunting community is greatly appreciated. We’re grateful for organizations that invest in the future of our sport and help make events like ours possible.
