🐾 BIG DOGS, BIG PERSONALITIES!

Bear and Bronson, the two magnificent Cane Corsos, traded pool time for some fun in the yard at Rummy’s Beach Club, and these boys made for some seriously impressive pictures! 📸🐶 Between running, playing, chasing the ball, and showing off just how athletic they are, there was plenty of action to capture without ever getting near the pool. When one of these giant boys stretches all the way up for a ball, you really get a sense of just how BIG a Cane Corso can be! We always have a great time with Bear and Bronson, whether they’re making waves in the pool or enjoying some playtime on dry land.

✨ Fun Fact: Cane Corsos are powerful working dogs with a long history as guardians. Their combination of size, strength, intelligence, and athleticism means both physical exercise and mental enrichment are important parts of keeping them happy.

🔥 JOJO CAME READY FOR EVERYTHING!

JoJo, a five-year-old Lab-Pit mix, made her first visit to Rummy’s Beach Club and immediately showed us just how much talent and energy can fit into one dog! 🐾💦 She swam, jumped into the water, dunked her head underwater, and approached every new challenge like she’d been waiting her whole life for someone to show her the pool. This girl has ENERGY, so part of her session was also about practicing the very important skill of taking a break! With plenty of rest mixed into all that action, JoJo had an incredible first visit and absolutely blew us away with what she could do. We have a feeling we’re going to have a lot of fun watching this girl develop her skills!

✨ Fun Fact: Highly driven dogs don’t always recognize when it’s time to stop playing, especially in hot weather. Scheduled breaks, shade, fresh water, and close monitoring for overheating are important even when a dog seems determined to keep going!

🌊 MONTY IS GETTING CLOSER!

Monty, the two-year-old Silken Windhound, was back at Rummy’s Beach Club for another confidence-building day, and this sweet boy made some wonderful progress! 🐾💦 His family has been incredibly patient, giving him the time and space he needs to discover the water without pushing him too far, too fast. This visit, Monty ventured out toward the deep end with Dad’s support, gradually spending more time in the water until he was ready for a few little moments on his own. And he did great! Of course, we couldn’t let the day end without letting those long legs loose in the yard, although photographing a Silken Windhound at full speed is another challenge entirely! 😂 We love watching Monty gain confidence one step at a time and can’t wait to see where his next visit takes him.

✨ Fun Fact: Silken Windhounds are sighthounds built for speed, but their sensitive nature can mean new experiences require patience. Allowing a hesitant dog to progress gradually can help build genuine confidence instead of simply getting them through the activity.

💦 BACK AT IT AGAIN!

Abby and Riley were back at Rummy’s Beach Club doing exactly what they do best: jumping in, making a splash, and bringing their usual crazy energy to the pool! 🐾🌊 These two never need much convincing when it’s time to have fun, and another visit meant another day packed with swimming, playing, and plenty of excitement. We always know we’re in for a good time when Abby and Riley arrive, and this swim was no exception!

✨ Fun Fact: Jumping, retrieving, and swimming give active dogs a combination of cardiovascular exercise and resistance work, making pool time a great outlet for dogs with energy to spare.

A SPECIAL DAY FOR QUORA

Sometimes a day at Rummy’s Beach Club is about more than swimming. Quora, a nine-year-old German Shepherd, came to spend some much-needed time with her family 🐾💙 They wanted to give Quora a day filled with something she loves, so they came to the pool together and simply enjoyed being with one another. We’re so grateful we could provide a place for this sweet girl and her family to make a happy memory together when they needed one most.

🐾 POOL TIME FOR ONE, PLAYTIME FOR TWO!

Taffy was back at Rummy’s Beach Club enjoying the water, with her buddy Sterling joining in for some fun on dry land! 💦. These two have their own ways of enjoying a day at the beach, and that made for some especially cute pictures together. Whether you’re the one making waves or the one waiting on shore for the next round of zoomies, there’s plenty of fun to be had at Rummy’s!

✨ Fun Fact: Dogs don’t have to enjoy the same activities to be great playmates. Compatible play styles, taking breaks when needed, and having space to choose their own activities can help dogs enjoy time together without either one becoming overwhelmed.

🎂 LUCAS IS BACK FOR BIRTHDAY NUMBER TWO!

Lucas, the two-year-old Dachshund, celebrated another birthday at Rummy’s Beach Club! 🥳🐾 He came for his first birthday last year, and we were so excited to have him back to celebrate turning TWO. Lucas can be selective about where and with whom he feels comfortable, but apparently he remembers exactly what Rummy’s is all about! After a couple of introductory barks, he was off exploring, sniffing, running around, and having an absolute blast. Watching this little guy confidently enjoy a place where he can simply be himself made his birthday visit even more special. Dachshund body, enormous personality, and one very happy birthday boy! 💙

✨ Fun Fact: Dachshunds may be small, but they were bred to be determined hunting dogs. Their history helps explain that famously bold personality, powerful prey drive, love of exploring, and impressive amount of confidence packed into those short legs!

🌟 PENNY CONQUERED THE DOCK!

Penny and Cooper were back at Rummy’s Beach Club, and this visit came with a very special guest: their Black Lab sister, Leia! 🐾💦 With three water-loving dogs in the pool, there was plenty of excitement and plenty of competition for those all-important toys. But the biggest moment of the day belonged to Penny. After taking several visits to build her confidence with swimming and jumping in, Penny surprised everyone by jumping right off the dock, and then she did it again! She didn’t even need a toy to convince her. She just decided she was ready! 🥹 Watching a once-hesitant swimmer become the first of the crew to confidently take that leap is exactly why we love what we do. Way to go, Penny!

✨ Fun Fact: Confidence-building isn’t always linear. A dog may need several sessions to master one skill, then suddenly surprise everyone with a huge leap forward once they feel secure. Allowing dogs to choose when they’re ready can make those breakthroughs even more rewarding.

🩵 KANE’S GOT HIS OWN CHEERING SECTION!

Kane, the Goldendoodle, was back at Rummy’s Beach Club for another great swim, and this time dad joined him for the fun! 🐾💦 Kane worked hard in the water, enjoyed plenty of attention, and made the most of another pool day doing what he loves. We even managed to get dad in on some pictures and capture a few sweet moments between the two of them! Kane has had quite the journey over the past several visits, and it’s always wonderful seeing the people who love him show up to cheer him on. Another fun day with this sweet boy in the books!

✨ Fun Fact: Dogs often form meaningful bonds with multiple people in their lives. Familiar faces, positive attention, and shared activities can help make new experiences even more enjoyable and enriching.

🌊 LITTLES IS MAKING BIG MOVES!

Koa and Littles were back at Rummy’s Beach Club, and these two are getting more comfortable every single time! 🐾💦 Littles came ready to GO, swimming more than ever, jumping onto the floatie, and even starting to jump right into the water on her own. Meanwhile, Koa likes to take everything in and keep a close eye on her adventurous little sister before deciding whether she wants to join the action. 😂 We have a feeling Littles is going to keep showing Koa just how much fun there is to be had, but there’s no rush. Each girl gets to figure things out at her own pace! We absolutely love watching their personalities come out more with every visit.

✨ Fun Fact: Dogs can learn a lot through social observation. Watching a familiar, confident dog interact with something new can sometimes encourage a more cautious dog to investigate and eventually try it for themselves.
