A little glimpse into the last two days at Collar & Comb.

Yesterday: a pup makeover! He is so cute!

Today:tearing apart a wall after an AC leak decided our slatwall had to go.

Different tasks. Different tools. Same mindset.

See a problem.
Roll up your sleeves.
Fix it.

Some days we’re restoring coats.

Some days we’re restoring parts of the shop.

Neither one is always easy, but both are done with a lot of hard work and a whole lot of heart.

We are bummed we missed First Fridays…

Now if the universe could give us a few boring days, we’d appreciate it. ❤️

Dear clients and friends,

I need to share something difficult. Earlier today, while en route to a client’s home, I was involved in a tragic accident when a dog unexpectedly entered the roadway. Despite my efforts to avoid her, she was injured. I stayed with her and her family, did everything I could in the moment, and sadly, she did not survive.

As someone who has dedicated my work to caring for animals, both through the grooming shop and in veterinary medicine, I take the safety and care of pets extremely seriously. This was heartbreaking for everyone involved.

Because of the emotional weight of what happened, I needed to cancel my afternoon appointments today. I deeply appreciate your understanding and patience as I work to reschedule everyone.

Thank you for your kindness and support. I remain dedicated to your pets, always. -Marissa
