Volunteering Saves the Mutts

Volunteering Saves the Mutts Sharing our local rescue dogs up for adoption! - Ben & Erika Dehoff I (Erika) have been a foster parent for rescue dogs since July of 2011 with Ben.

We have fostered over 100 dogs together and have 5 amazing rescued dogs from the high kill shelters of North & South Carolinas. We enjoy sharing each story as it unfolds, the ups & downs as it too is all part of what we do as foster parents. With each dog adopted, a little piece of our heart goes with them. With that, a simple update from a past foster makes our day, week, month and year!

Being in the rescue world comes with plenty of emotions to share. Its a path that any dog rescue volunteer wouldn't change at all. We tackle this over pet population together and stand to be their voice of life! Be a volunteer, be a foster and help us to save the mutts

Please message us if you are interested in fostering and head over to submit a foster app on him! If interested in adopting this sweet pup please fill out an adoption application! www.trurescue.org

‼️We have an URGENT need for fosters‼️

With EIGHT dogs in boarding at the kennel, our resources are stretched thin! We are fortunate ❤️to have an awesome relationship with Faraway Kennels to board our dogs while fosters and adopters are found. Though they get tons of love and care there, a foster home is where our dogs truly come out of their shells and blossom into the amazing dogs we know them to be.🐾🐾

Fostering can be short term or long term to fit your schedule and availability. Even weekend fosters are helpful to give dogs a break from the kennel!

TRU Rescue provides all needed veterinary care for foster dogs as well as food and other needed materials for their care. We also have an incredible network of volunteers, some of whom are very experienced dog trainers, to provide any and all support our fosters need!

Fostering is one of the kindest and most selfless gifts you can give a rescue dog!! So what do you say?!

Life is better with a foster dog, so if you’ve ever thought about fostering, NOW IS THE TIME!! ⏰

THANK YOU!! And please SHARE! Maybe your friend has been waiting for a message just like this to take the plunge into the wonderful world of dog fostering! 🐾❤️
