It’s been SO long since I’ve posted! We are STILL displaced from the Toxic Mold that stole our home for us, but we are blessed to have a roof over our heads.

I’ve been feeling pretty under the weather these past few weeks. My lab work still shows high levels of mold in my system even a year later, so that could be the culprit. Anyways, I made some tea with Lemon, Anise Hippo, fresh Ginger, fresh Turmeric, dried Nettles and a tiny bit of raw honey once the cup. It’s delicious! For sure helped calm my stomach. We’ll see if it helps with the body inflammation.

I’ll try to be better about posting. Our Mold adventures are totally a different adventure of their own.

Gluten Free, Blueberry-Lemon and Banana-Nut Muffins. Always made with strictly organic ingredients and as much things from our little homestead as possible. ❤️

They didn’t make it 1 minute out of the oven before the kids and my hubby started to devour them. 😂 Soooo I guess I need to make more so I can actually take some pictures. 🤭

We have been fasting and abstaining from meats except for fish until Easter. Had we not been drawn to fast I honestly don’t know what I ever would have even noticed these fresh garbanzo beans/green chickpeas at the store the other day. Holy moly am I obsessed! They are so tender and delicious. I steamed them for about 6 mins and they are perfect! Now we need to figure out how to grow these babies. 💚

Hi guys. I apologize for being MIA… Times have been interesting. We are still living in an Air BnB. Unfortunately zero progress has been made with our mold problem.. We’ve been out of our house for over 4 months now. It’s super depressing not having our home, but we are doing the best we can. Thankfully we planted a lot of our plants in bags so we have been able to move them with us. ❤️ We are still homesteading as much as we can, though we are running back and forth between the two houses constantly. 😅 Currently working on some organic jam.

RIP Peanuts 🐿️ and Fred 🦝…I’m still so stinking upset. Trying to keep politics out of it, but these babies deserved better… Humans inexcusably failed them. 💔 Nothing gets me like harming children or animals.

I apologize for being MIA for so long. Our lives where completely turned upside down at the beginning of September when we found out our sweet little house that we love and adore, tested positive for 3 different types of TOXIC MOLD! 😭

Many of you know all about my chronic health struggles over the last 6-7 years despite our lifestyle that no one has been able to explain until now. Mold Toxicity accounts for almost every symptom I have had. We were advised to leave immediately with our inside pets and that basically all of our belongings were not salvageable.

Fortunately we have found a cute little place in the area to rent until we figure out what’s going on. Right now our insurance is not helping at all. The entire home has issues, so it will be unbelievably costly to repair. We are thankful to at least finally have some answers health wise at least. Though this is a nightmare, it’s full of blessings also. After being away from the inside of our home for so long, many of my symptoms have resolved and the ones that are still here have greatly improved. Even the kids and the animals are doing tons better. Mold is SCARY guys. We honestly had no idea our home was slowly killing us.

We are currently facing many big decisions and are running down all of our options. We are actually looking for property, but still hope we can come back to ours. It’s a lot of mixed emotions and lots of creative thinking. I guess only time will tell what the future holds, but we do take comfort in knowing that God’s got us. We are trying very hard to follow his will and keep our eyes on all of the blessings we have.

Side note, the chickens are doing well. We have help and lots of cameras out. Unfortunately as far as the garden goes, the deer have figured out that there aren’t any dogs in the yard so they have been having a feast… We will start over once we figure out our next move. 🫶
