Big news!!
Meadow View Farm is so pleased and excited to announce the expansion of our MVF program and team! We will welcome Ame Pate and Willa Johnson in early June to the MVF team, joining Ashley Bakker, Jessica Clayton and myself. Ame (Sante Fe, NM) and Willa (Fort Collins, CO) will join us to provide training programs, training rides, horse show support, green horse starting and a sales horse program. These exceptional young ladies bring years of high level experience managing their own programs.
They are joining forces to help us expand our outreach to the NW hunter/jumper, and eventing communities, to increase the availability of quality training and instruction. They will have their own business in Coeur d'Alene, ID, (Coeur Performance Horses) and will share time with us 5 days a week at MVF. In their earlier years, these accomplished ladies met while both worked as training assistants for Mark Mead and J.J. Atkinson in Colorado at Sleepy Hollow Farm.
Their expertise spans all 3 rings and their experience at the top-rated shows around the West Coast will be invaluable to our growth. We will have an open house to showcase their talents in early July in a run up to the Columbia show July 11 & 12. Additionally, Tija Danzig, CHJA Junior Council Advisor, will be working with the Columbia Junior Council to organize a clinic at MVF with proceeds going to the Junior Council as a fundraising event for their 2026 projects.
