Jumper day at CHJA High Timber Classic was incredible. We enjoyed a sunny day full of amazing rides across all levels. Thanks to our course designer Lhanze Kohr, judge Sally, competitors, trainers, parents, volunteers, and lastly (but most importantly) Pam and Randy Raymond for the most incredible facility for these shows. Since this isn’t Pam posting, I (Jessica) can shout her out 💗

We started the day with our littlest rider Kendall making her lead line debut, and ended it with a special judges award to Samantha Shapiro for our Rider of the Day. Sam showed fantastic sportsmanship and horsemanship and left with a fun swag bag.

Thanks to each of you for making this a top notch season for CHJA. We look forward to our winter banquet where we’ll give away year end awards, celebrate all the wins and lessons learned, and kick off our 2027 season. In the mean time, heels down, and add leg always!

We recently completed our Summer's End Kids Camp at MVF. One of the kid favorite activities is to design jump poles for the winter! The top two vote getters will help recreate and paint their designs on jump poles! You can help us by voting for your favorite! Please indicate in the comments your selection! Pick your favorite and put the corresponding number by the pole and letter combo! Here we go. Select your top 2 designs and only one submission per person please and the polling will close at 6 AM Thursday, Sept. 10th! Here we go!!

The air is cooling, signaling fall is on the way and so is the High Timber Classic! The final Columbia Hunter Jumper horse show in our USHJA Outreach series for 2026! Dress coolers and pads are being embroidered and they are going to be lovely! High fun and low stress is what we strive for! Come join the fall fun. Chef Randy will have fall treats at the MVF Cafe and Boots & Bubbles will have specialty drinks for all.
We love to decorate for the fall show.... straw bales, cornstalks, pumpkins, leaves and sunflowers! It's been a tough summer so let's dust off our duds and have a great time! Warm-up schooling on Friday the 18th!
