At Penny’s Paw Spa, we keep our treat jars stocked with freeze-dried beef liver treats because they’re simple, high-value rewards that dogs absolutely love. 🐶✨

Positive reinforcement is a huge part of how we approach dog grooming, especially for puppies, anxious dogs, and pups learning that the grooming salon can be a safe and positive place.

Sometimes the tiniest reward makes the biggest difference.

Meet Birdie & Beau 💙🐾

These sweet English Springer Spaniel siblings are just about a year old and still pretty new to the grooming world. This was only their second ever groom, and they both did so well at Penny’s Paw Spa!
Beau started out a little nervous and wiggly, but once he got some energy out and got to play with his sister, his tail never stopped wagging. Birdie, on the other hand, was completely relaxed and nearly fell asleep during her spa day. 🛁✨
Watching puppies grow more confident with gentle, low-stress grooming is one of our favorite parts of the job. We’re so happy these two found us. 💛
