If you’ve been coming here long (and even if you haven’t!) you’re probably very familiar with this smiling face! For 20 years, Jocelyn has been an integral part of the Cat Clinic team and, as our practice manager, she is the glue that holds this place together. Whether she’s whispering angry cats, providing detailed advice and support to our clients, running our boarding facility or putting out fires for Dr. Shaver (and so many more things), there is no task she can’t handle!

Please join us in celebrating her amazing career, feel free to drop your words of appreciation in the comments! Also, we will be closed from 12-3pm today in order to celebrate her properly—we’re sure you understand! 😊

UPDATE: This kitty has been reunited with her owners! Thanks to everyone who shared her information!

FOUND

Adult, DLH Grey Tabby, Female (no obvious spay scar), Not microchipped, no id/collar

Found in the Sundance Estates neighborhood (Closest major cross streets - Ridgecrest & Nine Mile Rd in the 99026 zip code)

A good samaritan brought this kitty to us at Spokane Cat Clinic late last week to scan for a microchip (no such luck 😕). The person who found her said he'd noticed her hanging around the neighborhood for a few days and none of the neighbors he talked to were missing a cat. She somehow managed to pry into their crawlspace and the homeowner was able to get her into a trap.

She is safe and being cared for here at Spokane Cat Clinic for the time being, but we are not a shelter, so hopefully she has an owner out there looking for her. She was very skittish at first, but after a few scritches and 3 churu treats, she has decided that she LOVES us. She is quite thin and her fur is pretty matted up, and I think that makes her look older than she might actually be. If we don't find her owner right away, we will update the photos in a week or two after she has a chance to gain a bit of her weight back.

Please reach out by phone, text, or email (info below) if you recognize her!

Harriet wanted me to let you all know that she would be more than happy to help take care of those pesky Thanksgiving leftovers for you. She's pretty selfless like that.
Also, just a reminder that the clinic will be closed this Thursday and Friday for the holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!

Who's ready to adopt an adorable kitten or two? These three kitties are about ready to go to their forever homes!

"Torti Amos" (tortoiseshell) was found on the side of the road all by herself, trying to fight off an upper respiratory infection. She is around 11 weeks old now - healthy, energetic, and very social!

The other two kittens are about 12 weeks old. The brown tabby with white (male) and the grey tabby (female) are siblings and would be thrilled to be adopted together or separately. They are super mellow and love to snuggle while cradled in your arms.

If you are interested in adoption, please contact us by email at [email protected] so we can start the application process!

Happy "Gotcha" Day to our clinic cat, Harriet Stubman!
A year ago today, a tiny kitten strutted into our lives and claimed the clinic as her domain. With her cute little stubby tail, snuggles, and an endless supply of sass, she's spent the first year of her reign demanding attention from her loyal subjects and trying to convince everyone that Churu treats are a basic necessity. Drop a 🩷 or a 🐾 below to help us celebrate our favorite diva!

It’s Veterinary Staff Appreciation Week, and today we’re treating our amazing team to an Ice Cream Sundae Buffet!
Every member of our staff plays an essential role in helping the cats we care for live their best and healthiest lives. Dr. Shaver and I (Jocelyn) are endlessly grateful for their dedication, compassion, and hard work — it never goes unnoticed. We’d love for you to join us in celebrating them!
