On Saturday, we had the absolute pleasure of meeting the most handsome Bengal boy named Benjamin! 🐾✨

This curious kitty kept us on our toes as he explored just about everything. From sniffing around to supervising our team like a true professional, Benjamin was the definition of a perfect patient.

He was sweet, brave, and full of personality definitely our ⭐ Spotlight Patient of the Day ⭐

Thank you, Benjamin, for brightening our Saturday! We loved having you visit and can’t wait to see you again (even if you’re just stopping by to inspect our work 😉).

Pet Urgent Care had the absolute pleasure of seeing the most adorable little Dachshund this week! She came in for some ear troubles, but she wasn’t about to let that stop her from looking fabulous.

This sweet girl showed up to her appointment wearing her “going to town” pearls so she could make sure she looked her very best. ✨🐶💎

We’re pretty sure she stole every heart in the building!

We are currently seeking volunteer donors:

🐶 Dogs who are:
✅ Happy & healthy
✅ Over 40 pounds
✅ Between 1–6 years old
✅ Able to lie still for about 10 minutes

🐱 Cats who are:
✅ Happy & healthy
✅ At least 10 pounds
✅ Between 1–6 years old
✅ Able to lie still for about 10 minutes

🐾💙 Meet Regulus – one of the sweetest pups we got to see at Pet Urgent Care this week! 💙🐾

Regulus came in for some urinary discomfort, and after running a urinalysis, we found signs of a urinary tract infection (UTI). Don’t worry—he’s headed home with antibiotics to get him back to feeling his best! 🐶✨

🔎 Did you know? Some of the major causes of urinary changes in pets can include:
✔️ Urinary tract infections
✔️ Urinary crystals
✔️ Urinary calculi (stones)

When your vet prescribes antibiotics, it’s very important to:
✅ Give the full course (even if your pet seems better!)
✅ Prevent resistance and persistent infection
✅ Follow up if symptoms don’t fully resolve

We’re so glad we could help Regulus start his road to recovery! 🐕💖 Sending him lots of tail wags and healing vibes.

Who said cheese?! 🧀🧀

I think it might have been this girl...

Coral came in for having ingested and entire block of fancy, Gruyere cheese and as to be expected, her tummy wasn't too pleased with her decision.

We treated her symptoms with some anti-nausea meds and if you ask Coral, it was 10/10 worth it. 🤣

Thanks for coming to see us, Coral!!

PSA - do not walk behind Coral for the next several days if you prefer to breathe oxygen and not doggie flatulence 🐾🤢

Meet Ruby!

Ruby presented to our clinic last week for possible kennel cough exposure. 😟

Despite her potential exposure, she was excited as can be to visit our clinic!! It actually took 2 handfuls of treats to distract her so Dr. Bastian could complete his exam.

Her mom was very worried, especially with how young she is, but assistant Callie assured her that Ruby would likely be just fine 😊

A simple course of cough tabs, and 1/2 a bag of treats later, Ruby and mum Carrissa left the clinic happy and on their way to healthy 🥳

Sweet, beautiful, and eager to please "Crank" was seen last week at the Pet Urgent Care with Dr. Karshner, and superstar assistant Callie 🐾🩺

Crank's Mom and Dad had noticed some concerning facial swelling, but they had no idea what may have happened to their beloved puppy.

After Dr. Karshner did her physical exam and got to know a bit more about Crank, it was discovered that rambunctious Crank REALLY loves her zoomies... aaannnddd she just may have slid into a wall or door frame (don't worry, Crank.. we won't tell your friends)

Crank went home with some anti-inflammatory medications and trotted out the door happy as can be!! 🐕🦴🐾
