My female Harpactira Pulchripes is guarding an eggsac. I'm over the moon. Now they just need to survive and hope she doesn't eat them. Almost a week has passed. This is before she made the eggsac hammock.

I'm so happy my daughter found my escape artist. Monocentropus Balfouri tarantula that was loose for almost a week.

We say goodbye to this little Stud that my daughter raised from a tiny tiny sling. He lived a great life with her taking care of him. She named him "Thor" and he was lightning fast even after he matured. This was another captive bred quality tarantula reproduced by Shane @ shane's spiders. Thor was approximately 4 years old and matured in February or March. My daughter had arachnophobia when I first got back into the hobby in 2017 and then became a breeder. She no longer has arachnophobia and these pictures show she wasn't afraid to corral escapees or those that loved to bolt. She has another tarantula because she knew his time was limited. She has a Carabena Versicolor now. First picture is before he matured and had just been fed a red runner roach and doing the tarantula happy dance.
