We still have four baby lovebirds that are fully weaned and ready to fly the nest to their forever families! Lovebirds aren’t known for generally bonding with multiple people in a household, but with proper socialization it’s always a possibility. We don’t usually recommend them to families with young children, but have made exceptions in the past. If you’re looking for a little shoulder companion to ride around with you, a lovebird may be the perfect fit!

I’ll include species, mutation, DNA, band number and info about each birds personality under their pictures. All babies will be sent home with their DNA results along with both parents disease tests and the oldest sibling in the clutches test results. Feel free to message us any questions!

These crimson bellied conures are just too sweet for their own good! We still have three available, two boys and a girl. They’re fully flighted and very confident with their wings, they’re go go go all the time! Once they settle down they love snuggles too though. I expect them to be weaned and ready to go home in about 3-4 weeks, maybe a bit sooner. If you’re looking for a bird that wants to do everything you’re doing, a crimson belly may be the perfect fit!

Our Planet Pleasures order is here! Make sure to come and get them while they last! We got a variety of piñatas along with small and large wooden towers and sisal rope boings.

Most of our products come from A&E and we make those order bi-monthly. For the months in between those orders I want to start doing specialty orders like these! If you have a brand in mind you’d like to see, feel free to leave a comment and we can look into it as an option!

Here’s all of our currently available rehome birds that are looking for their new forever families! I’ll include more information under each picture, all of these birds come with their cages as well.

We require applications for all of our birds, and at least 2-3 visits before we seriously consider an application. Please feel free to message any questions or come in to visit them in person!

Formally introducing Bird! Bird is a male blue fronted Amazon, estimated to be in his 20’s. He’s not currently at the store but staying with our foster, but he’s officially ready to start looking for his new home!

Bird came to us in a very small cage and on an all seed and peanut diet, we have since gotten him into an upgraded cage, which he is loving, and transitioned him onto our Raj’s mix. We’re now starting to transition him onto our Basil’s mix, which is a bit healthier with less sugar. Now that he’s on a better diet, we’re able to start using seeds and nuts as treats! He hasn’t stepped up and gets a bit weary when you get to close, but his old owner was able to let him out and have him perch on his leg and allow the occasional pet. He’s of course is a typical Amazon and only wants affection on his terms and isn’t afraid to strike if you ignore his warnings. Overall he has been very quiet for an Amazon as well. He seems to have a preference for men, but isn’t necessarily aggressive to women either. He prefers a calmer environment overall, he really needs someone with patience that is willing to go at his pace and earn trust slowly. He would benefit from target training to build confidence and a bond with his owner as well.

If you’re interested in getting to know Bird more, please message us! We will be asking a lot of questions to make sure it’s the best possible fit. We can do meet and greets at the store, but I really don’t think Bird will be himself in the hectic store environment and it may just stress him out.

Meet Popcorn, he’s a 26 year old male Umbrella Cockatoo we recently had surrendered to us, he’s currently staying with our foster as we get to know him and his personality. I want to use him as an educational opportunity.

Popcorn has an unknown past for the most part, we met him about a year ago when someone first got ahold of him, and then was soon after rehomed again. That home loved him very much but was going to be going through a lot of medical issues and wouldn’t have the time to care for him properly anymore, so they reached out to us.

I noticed right away that his feet looked terrible, almost looked like they were burnt, they’re not thankfully, but definitely irritated. At the time he didn’t seem to act like anything was bothering him so we sent him home with Jess and planned a vet visit within the week. His old owner said she had put h**p oil on his feet regularly, but never said anything about a previous vet visit regarding it.

Jess noticed he seemed very uncomfortable today so we got him into the vet same day. We did bloodwork and got some meds to help in the meantime. It’s likely vitaminosis or fatty liver disease. It’s so incredibly important to have your birds on a proper diet, it’s heartbreaking to see him go through this. Parrots shouldn’t be eating nuts and seeds all day, a base of healthy pellets, fresh veggies and a small amount of seeds or nuts is the recommended diet for most species. If this ends up being fatty liver disease, they believe it would be end stages of it. There of course is also a chance it could be something else, but we won’t know until the bloodwork comes back. Regardless, something is going on that we need to get fixed as soon as possible to make him comfortable again. He’s really a gentle soul and such a sweet boy.

Situations like this are why we have an emergency fund. We never ask for donations, but will always gladly take them to help birds in need like sweet Popcorn! Please keep him in your thoughts as we figure this out, he’s too young to be having all these issues.🤍💛
