Idaho and love animals, my kids are active in 4h and local ARBA shows and I've always loved bunnies. So they are learning about raising livestock while I get to raise bunnies as a hobby :) I do not plan to have a huge rabbitry, I want all my animals to be well loved and have plenty of attention. I do breed all my does during the warmer seasons and will post available kits. Holland Lops is the bree

Almost hitting that 10 year mark breeding hollands is amazing to me .. I felt I was hitting a good stride in my breeding program before covid .. then with no shows to attend I tried to keep breeding thinking “I can’t wait to hit the tables again”
Then life just got super busy .. got super spread thin and I just stopped finding the time & energy to put into my hollands. Attending ARBA convention was a great boost for me since all my hollands placed and my favorite brk otter doe took 3rd place in her class.. but I kept hitting bumps in the road for the last 1-2 years since..

I recently got a buck back to use in my program that was a result of a shared breeding. And his first set of kits gave me a feeling of excitement again!!!

Lots of changes have happened for our rabbitry as well. My children have always been my little partners in crime but as they have gotten older their priorities have shifted - change is hard and I always want to support my kids on their passions - hollands just weren’t their passion anymore. So I took over their projects, we’ve always kept our own rabbits separate so we each had our own line within a line. The kids kept 1-2 of their favorites and I’ve picked and chosen ones I wanted to use.

I’m excited for my kids new adventures my son Zachry is focusing on HS wrestling- he placed 5th at state as a freshman and is looking at attending summer camps to grow more in the sport, he’s also focusing on only showing pigs 🐽 which he’s also finding a stride in that adventure as well.
My youngest daughter invested in buying bred club sheep/ewes & is breeding her 4h sheep and plans to grow in that project as well.

This gives me the chance to really focus on my rabbits and not worry about what my kids rabbits are doing. I’m enjoying the hobby again and feeling excited about hollands again ☺️
This little 4 week old pre-jr is giving me all the feels again - can’t wait for him to grow up!!

Sorry bunny 😬

It’s rough out there kids. Making memes is hard when my fingers are popsicles.

They say, they’re not dead until they’re warm and dead. How about when they’re frozen and alive… what does that make me?

Haha literally me 😂So sorry to all the tall exhibitors 😉

I’m so glad I let this buck stay for the summer because he really bloomed. And to think I was just going to cut him from my program after the busy fair season passed 🤪

Zachry got the opportunity to bring Thriantas back from ARBA Convention
He got busy breeding the doe and the buck to a lot of his does
This doe is probably the only one I’ve suggested he keep, she’s from the oldest litter - might be 1 more we’ll hold onto as a backup
Funny she looks a lot like his first “pet” orange buck who was a pedigree purebred holland 🤪

Our Story

Welcome to our rabbitry page, My name is Elisa and I am a mother of 3 animal loving kiddo’s. Our passion for raising Holland lops started with my love for floppy eared bunnies. I had lops most of my childhood and when my children were old enough to join 4H I jumped at the opportunity to get my children into showing and breeding Holland Lops. We live in N. Idaho surrounded by trees and mountains and plenty of fresh air!

Holland Lops are a small compact breed and do not get much bigger than 3-4lb. Our rabbits are pedigree we have been working on building our foundation stock by selecting breeding rabbits from some of the best & established breeders. We breed to the ARBA standard of perfection. We are working on perfecting our Torts (black, chocolate, blue, lilac) each of us have our own color project. I focus on chocolates & otters. My son is focusing on widebands (orange, cream, frosty) and my youngest daughter has stepped into the shaded program (sable points, siamese sables, smoked pearl)

Our pet quality rabbits are sold without a pedigree, brood or show type will be sold with pedigree and breeding rights.

Rabbits can be spay or neutered and can make great house pets, be aware they do like to chew and dig ;)
