After so many ups and downs, could this possibly be the up they needed? This is a nice relaxed ride for both horse and rider. The purpose of this video is not to judge the rider or horse, it is that if you know this duo, they have been working for a long time trying to figure out what was wrong. Fitting different saddles to a growing horse, and if you have ever owned a horse off the track you know there can be challenges. Here’s to hoping you both finally, after years of not giving up have finally found your happy!🥰

There are days I look around the barn and can’t believe this is my life.

Not because it’s perfect—it definitely isn’t. Horses are expensive. They can be frustrating, unpredictable, and sometimes heartbreaking. There are days I question myself, days I leave feeling defeated, and days I wonder if I’m doing enough.

But then there are moments like this.

The quiet moments. The ones where I’m standing next to my horse after a long day at work, taking a deep breath, and realizing this is the dream I used to think was only for other people.

I didn’t grow up riding. I started at 19 knowing almost nothing, and somehow that little decision changed the course of my life.

Since then, I’ve taken lessons at different barns, leased horses, bought my first horse, somehow ended up buying a baby horse too, made plenty of mistakes, learned more lessons than I can count, and met some incredible people along the way.

Horse ownership isn’t just about owning a horse.

It’s about becoming someone who’s willing to keep learning. Showing up even when it’s hard. Finding a place that feels like home. Giving yourself something that’s just yours in the middle of work, responsibilities, and everyday life.

If you’re dreaming about owning a horse someday, I hope you know you don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. None of us do.

And if you’re already living this life, I hope you take a second today to appreciate how far you’ve come.

Because sometimes we’re so busy chasing the next goal that we forget we’re already living a dream we once wished for.

This is one of the MANY reasons we choose  for all of our horses. They go above and beyond for their care and our peace of mind. They are educational, use every moment as a teaching one, listen to concerns, work with you to find what’s best for both horse and rider. We have met each one of the amazing Drs. that works there, but Kaitlyn has a special place for this duo. She has been with Grace and Piper from the beginning, when Piper came home as a skinny off the track, needing some TLC and gentle people in her life. It has been years of trial and error, ups and downs, but Kaitlyn is always there to answer graces questions and calm her fears. Too be able to have such a great team is priceless to us and we thank you all!❤️
