We’re a little late to the party but I guess it’s time to find these guys their perfect family. We have had so much fun with these kids . They are sweet, loving and will make the perfect companion. Royal Canin’s AKC National Championship in Orlando Florida has come and gone.
We had a very good weekend accomplishing what we set out to do….. plus some
Sydney and Rooster showed great. We were in the herding specialty on Friday.
Syd and Rooster made it thru 2 of the 3 cuts and in the herding Juniors they made the cut in a class of 25 Open Juniors.
Moving over to the NOHS ring ( the real reason we came) they won BOBOH !
Finishing their year out at #1 Cardigan Welsh Corgi Owner Handled.
Bravo 👏
Saturday team Rooster showed in the Royal Canin AKC Junior Showmanship competition. The kids made it ALL THE WAY to the Finalists round! WOW!!! What a great feeling! My heart was fluttering and my stomach had butterflies. I can only imagine how Syd and Rooster felt!
They didn’t place in the top 4 but man what a ride and an honor to be there.
Did I mention that there were 142 kids entered? 😮
On Sunday, in the cardigan ring they made the cut but didn’t go any farther.
What a great show for a couple of kids from Oklahoma.

Wow!! 🤗
What a week we had at the OKC dog show.
GCH CH ShelShire’s Rainbow Rebel without a cause was Best of Opposite S*x for two days and Select Bitch two days.
Syd’s Vizsla, Scarlett, was Best of Bred/BOBOH the first day and got an Owner Handler Group 4. BOS one day and Select Bitch for two days. BOBOH all four days that she was shown.
Our BIG winner of the week was Sydney’s 7mo old puppy, Rooster! Now known as “CH” Rochar’s Ruler of the Roost at ShelShire. Syd led him to Winner’s Dog/Best of Winners three of the five days for a total of 3 five pt majors. Two Best Puppy’s, a Puppy Group 3 and a Puppy Group 2. Three BOBOH and an OH Group 3. This is the first time that we’ve finished a dog’s championship in one weekend with all 5pt majors. 🥰
Syd did such a great job showing her dogs.

We spent the past week in Springfield, Missouri at the 2021 CWCCA National Specialty.
Rebel, Edison and Rooster represented SheShire Cardigans.
Rebel started us off on Tuesday night in the Megan competition and was awarded Best Black Girl. Sydney showed Rebel in Juniors. They got second place in the Open Senior class. On Saturday Rebel was entered in the Best In Specialty Show. She made it past both cuts and received an Award of Merit. “yippee!” 🥳
Edison was entered in Veterans 7-9 yrs Sweepstakes and Regular Veterans class. He got 1st place in his class in both of his competitions.
Our puppy boy, Rooster, turned 6mos old the day before Nationals. This was his first show. In the 6-9mos Sweepstakes class he was 3rd in his class and in the Regular 6-9mo class he was 1st. We are so excited about him!
This year had the most entries in the history of the CWCCA.
We received acknowledgment in every class we entered on every dog we took under different judges.
We are so amazed and blessed and appreciate the judges for the validation.
