๐4th of July is Almost Here!๐
While we look forward to fireworks, cookouts, and celebrations, many of our pets find the holiday stressful and overwhelming.
Here are a few ways to help keep your furry family members safe and comfortable:
๐พ Keep pets indoors during fireworks.
๐พ Make sure collars, ID tags, and microchip information are up to date.
๐พ Create a quiet, comfortable space with familiar blankets, toys, or calming music.
๐พ Keep BBQ foods, alcohol, glow sticks, and fireworks safely out of reach.
๐ Does your pet need anxiety medication for fireworks? If your pet has used anti-anxiety medication in the past, now is the time to request refills or schedule a consultation. Medications work best when started before the holiday festivities begin.
๐ Give us a call at 508-885-4848 to discuss your pet's needs before the holiday rush.
From all of us at Spencer Veterinary Hospital, we wish you and your pets a safe, happy, and stress-free Independence Day! โค๏ธ๐ค๐๐ถ๐ฑ
