Frank was cozy, the Dog Tank was loaded, Matehuala gave us a street fountain, Texas gave us a quirky souvenir, and somehow we kept rolling.

Of course my night in Matehuala ended in hell… or at least where *El In****no* was filmed. 😆

Just kidding. Great night, great stop, and such a cool place to stumble into on the road.

No pets allowed inside, so this one is better for the human part of a transport trip: a fun, safe place for a solo pet transporter to grab a meal, breathe for a minute, and enjoy a little movie-location weirdness before pickup day.

Just a quick Public Service Announcement from your friendly neighborhood international pet transporter.

I can't stand to see humans abused any more than I can stand seeing animals harmed.
So listen, I’m not asking you to play real-life Grand Theft Auto through Mexico City traffic, debate border patrol in high-stakes Spanish, or dodge topes the size of visual illusions without blowing your damn suspension. Nor am I asking you to perform advanced veterinary triage in a hundred-and-ten-degree desert while Google Maps actively tries to guide you off a cliff.
That's my lane. I handle all of that before lunch on a Tuesday.

I'm asking you to look at the person currently destroying someone else's life and say: 'Hey. That’s not healthy. Stop it.'
That’s it. That is the whole bar. You got this.

Mel’s Angels Pet Transport has limited possible openings on an upcoming U.S. route.

June 5–10: Laredo, TX → Dallas → Branson → Sioux Falls, SD
June 12–13: Sioux Falls, SD → Chicago area

I can consider pickups and drop-offs along or slightly near this route if the timing works and the animal is compatible with the pets already traveling.

I may also have possible spots for compatible dogs traveling from the Chicago area back toward Querétaro / Puebla / CDMX after the Chicago pickup.

This is small-group, safety-first transport. Frank rides shotgun, compatibility comes first, and I only add animals when the setup is safe for everyone. No overcrowded van run, no mystery handoff, no surprise add-ons after booking.

My U.S. news carrier pigeon finally made it to Mexico with updates:
War. Collapse. Chaos.
And apparently they stopped making pennies.
Some people worry about the economy. Frank and I are focused on the real crisis: what this means for smashed penny machines.
Supplies checked. Penny passports packed. Dog Tank activated.
In case of national crisis, locate nearest penny machine.
Civilization may be over, but the mission is not.
