It's been a crazy summer! ☀️
💔 So many dog surrenders, dogs impounded and never claimed, and even a house explosion bringing us 7 dogs over the course of a few days in June.
We want to give a huge "THANK YOU🐾❤️" to Tiana at Pawsitive Strides & Paw-House Calls, LLC for going above and beyond for us and the house explosion dogs (we refer to as The Mythicals) in the last couple months. When we were at our busiest, she created a GoFundMe for The Mythicals, which raised just over $7,500, as well as promoting the dogs and their progress, helping us at the vet during visits, and even coming out to the shelter to apply skin soothing ointments, brush or shave out the singed fur, and just provide them some extra love and attention.
We truly don't know what we would have done without Tiana. 🥹 She picked us up when we were down and stressed about placing these dogs with already full kennels, worried about getting each one the vet visits they needed (surgeries for injuries, spays and neuters for all, and many medications), and we know that she helped us reach the forever homes for the dogs through informative and uplifting social media promotions.
👏 There were kind volunteers/neighbors to these scared and injured dogs that handled the trapping and transport of the dogs to us while coordinating with local law enforcement - 💥 shout out to Bobbi and Levi, Dee Dee, Deputy Sheriff Clark, and local trappers. Thank you all for caring about these dogs, their safety, and their future lives.
Thank you to all the families/individuals that adopted one of our Mythicals. We've received so many updates and everyone is thriving! Phoenix is still with us but not for long... ❤️
🥹 I was even gifted a collab shirt with the names of each Mythical on them - you better believe on the hardest days I'll be putting on this shirt for reassurance that there are good people out there, a positivity boost, and memories of the sweetest dogs... ❤️🐾
