Samuel is probably one of the favorites at Spartanburg Humane Society , all the volunteers love him. He's so easy going and gentle. He loves to play with his squeaky toys or go for long walks. Samuel is always in a good mood. He's a 2 yr old, Boxer Mix. Please call SHS 864 583 4805 to plan a meet and greet with Samuel. You'll thoroughly enjoy him.

GPD would like to introduce K9 Leo & his handler, Officer Weeks! This K9 team has been working together since 2017. K9 Leo plays a vital role in providing safety to the community. As GPD's only explosive detection dog, he performs explosive sweeps at BSWA and other special events. K9 Leo is not only an explosive detection tool but also a patrol K9 and an asset to the SWAT team, where Officer Weeks serves as a Team Leader.

Don't forget that West Broad Apparel will continue the K9 T-shirt sale until the end of June. The proceeds of your T-shirt purchase will go directly to the unit for equipment and tools for training and live deployments. Don't miss a great opportunity to support K9 Leo, Officer Weeks, and the K9 Unit! 🐾🚨🚔

Bus Buddies 🚌

We wanted to give a special shoutout to LANTA Lehigh Valley for granting Seeing Eye puppy raisers free year bus passes so that our pups can get the important bus exposure they need to better prepare them for becoming future working Seeing Eye dogs. Thank you so much Lehigh + Northampton Transportation Authority for helping us continue our mission!

If you are interested in becoming a Seeing Eye puppy raiser or sitter, please visit seeingeye.org/raise for more information.

PD: Two leashed Labs, one black and one yellow, wearing Seeing Eye puppy raising program bandanas, sit and stand on the sidewalk before a LANTA bus.
