My heart is heavy as I had to say goodbye to a very dear friend — sweet Rex. 🐾

Rex’s love was larger than life itself. Every time I walked through the door, he and his big brother Samson greeted me with pure joy, his tail wagging, his spirit beaming, and those gentle brown eyes filled with a love so true it reached straight into my soul.

In his short 8 years, Rex gave more love than most beings could in a lifetime. He reminded me daily of the beauty in simple things — the excitement of a walk, the peace in companionship, the love of nature and the quiet power of unconditional love.

I feel deeply blessed to have walked alongside him, not just as his dog walker, but as his friend. Our time together was a gift, and I will forever cherish the bond we shared.

Rest well, sweet Rex. Your paw prints will forever remain on my heart always. ❤️🐾

The best part of being a dog walker is not just "walking the dog" it’s developing a lifelong connection with the dogs you walk or care for 😢 After spending 1 week in the summer for 8 years with Spot made me adore him even more which makes saying goodbye a testament to the love we shared 💔 May he be playing and frolicking with Buster -Scooter - Carrot Top and Jake the Fish - all of his siblings awaiting his arrival at the rainbow bridge 🌁 * pics through our years together 🥰

I am deeply saddened to share that Prince Louis has crossed the rainbow bridge - he had a long and fulfilling life of 11 years and I feel fortunate to have been a part of his life in this world - although he captured my heart, his memory will live on forever in my heart and mind - play joyfully my sweet Louis 😞
