Good morning! I hope this note finds you all doing well on this chilly day!

It is hard to believe we are in the month of March already, but that means warmer and greener days are right around the corner to stay!

I wanted to take some time to reach out to all of you and share some updates regarding our 2023 season and to let you all know that we will not be offering our CSA program this season.

After taking some time off over the winter and looking forward to the upcoming year, we have so many things happening, that we made the decision to take a step back this season and take more time for our family. It certainly was not an easy decision, but one that we feel is an important one for us.

As many of you have been with us for several years, you have gotten to know our family and what makes Inch by Inch what it is. . .the 3 Sisters and the Fab 5 and of course our parents. You have followed us and watched our farm and Fab 5 grow and, as of last summer, we added a new little one to the farm crew! You have been through our ups and downs; from weather to weeding woes and everything in between. To be able to share all of these things with all of you over the past years has been wonderful and your friendships have absolutely meant the world to each of us.
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank you so much for choosing us to be your farmers for the past 10 years, supporting our small farm and being a part of the Inch by Inch family. We have loved having the opportunity to meet and get to know you all, as well as grow fresh and beautiful food for you and your families. We will truly miss seeing you each week.

We will continue to keep in touch with you here periodically through the year. Please feel free to reach out any time to say Hello! We would love to hear from you!

We do not like to say "goodbye", so until we meet again Inch by Inchers. . . 😊

Week #6!

We have a very aromatic bag this week!!
Inside you will find cucumbers, summer squash , potatoes, fresh garlic, basil, rainbow chard and pineapple sage! Enjoy!

We will harvest the rest of the garlic next week & prep it to dry & cure for longer storage.

The zinnias are really starting to pop now too...So vibrant! 🌼🌺

Good evening Inch by Inchers!!

Dinner is on!! 😋

We often get questions on how to use the veggies in your bag each week & our newsletter gives you different ideas, but I thought I would share my quick & easy dinner version with you too!

This week two of the veggies in your bag were zucchini & kale. This dinner is a quick saute/stir fry that takes about 15 minutes! You can add in grilled chicken for some extra protein too if you wish.

Start a pan with water & cook your pasta according to the directions.

While your pasta is cooking, Heat a pan with some olive oil & minced garlic. (I add a Tbsp of butter for added flavor too) 😁

Slice the zucchini into 1/2 inch slices, then in half again & placed them in the pan. Add a little salt & pepper & saute for 5-7 minutes.
Rinse your kale & strip the leaves off of the stem. Slice the kale into ribbons. Add to zucchini in the pan & toss until the kale starts to soften.

I added the herb & garlic blend & tossed it with the veggies until they were coated. Turn your heat down low on your veggies while you drain the pasta.

Place pasta in with the veggies & toss until well mixed. Add some parmesan over the top & you are done!

Make a salad with your lettuce and dinner is done! 😋 Enjoy!!

I like to add a variety of veggies throughout the season to change it up...peas, yellow summer squash, carrots, mushrooms...the sky is the limit!

Week #3!!

Another colorful & aromatic bag this week!

This week's bag contains head lettuce (red or green), beets, garlic scapes, rainbow chard, asparagus and fresh basil. Yum!! 😋

Just a reminder, we are off next Monday for the 4th of July holiday. We will resume pick ups/deliveries on Monday, July 11th.

Week #2!!!

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!

This week's bag is still sporting a lot of green for some yummy salads for the warm weather! 😋

This week you will find rhubarb, asparagus, mixed head lettuces, rainbow swiss chard, red beets (KEPS & On Farm pick ups this week), pineapple sage, and garlic chives.

Week #1 of our 10th CSA growing season!!!

With the challenging, chilly & crazy spring weather, we are about a week or so behind where we typically are at this time of the year.
We did consider postponing the start of the season for another week, but in the end, we decided to share a few great veggies with you this week & stay on track!

We have fewer items in your bag to start us off, but as the weather improves, your bags will be overflowing & we will catch up in just a few weeks! We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work with Mother Nature & attempt to match her pace the best that we can!!

This week's bag includes asparagus, mixed lettuce, swiss chard, rhubarb, chives, apple mint, and a sweet little extra from our bee friends...raw, filtered honey from our farm! 🐝

We look forward to a great season & thank you all for supporting our family farm!! 😊

We are just under 2 weeks from our first delivery of the 2022 season!

We have had a whirlwind of a spring...between family events, sporting events for the Fab 5, working our off farm jobs and a house move last week, our posts have been few & far between! But never fear...we are ready to bring you a great season of veggies!
