I really try my best to be a great breeder and do the right things in life because I believe what the Bible says about reaping and sowing. It is really sad that there are fellow breeders out there that preach Jesus all day long but then won't stand behind their get and send threating message about "outing" them for their behavior. IMO, it is buyer beware with unscrupulous people. I bought a very expensive one of a kind c**t from a breeder with their word, in text, that the c**t had two small testicles. I took the word of this breeder and did not have a PPE done, so shame on me for that. When he did not drop one by the age of 2, I contacted them and was told to "just be patient", "this breed takes longer", and "he will breed with one nut"(seriously???). My vet even tried HCG shots and acupuncture to assist at no avail. Now I am faced with having this very expensive boy gelded because I don't feel it is ethical to breed a crypt. New River Vanners would never treat a customer like this, and I would be crushed if someone bought a horse from us that they were unhappy with. We are so proud of our get and that we are supportive of our customers and treat them like family. The Golden Rule is non-negotiable with our family! I requested either a partial refund, a foal in trade or even for them to at least pay for the expensive gelding surgery. They basically told me to f off. Learn by my mistakes of taking people for their word, get the PPE done, and make a list of bad breeders and don't ever do business with them or people who do. Karma will catch up.
