Both Fiona & Atlas came to us really scared, growling, afraid to interact and overwhelmed with all the change....so it's pretty darn cute that those two have not only proven they just needed time to trust and adjust, but they also decided they're going to be friends 🥹

As you'll see, however, Atlas doesn't share Fiona's love of water🤣🤣

Happy Friday!

Lentil & Garbanzo were by far the most fearful out of all of the chihuahuas we took from the hoarding case. Luckily, they happened to find themselves the most understanding and patient foster parents! After almost 2 months, they've allowed collars to be put on, they've willingly jumped up onto the bed by their foster humans, and they've taken treats from hands! We know these sound like such simple things, but to us, they're enormous strides in the right direction considering how much they were failed in the past.

These boys would likely benefit from staying together, and because they're experiencing somewhat of the "underdog syndrome" we've decided to waive their adoption fee as a pair

Adoptable puppy Fiona knows how to have fun & cool off on a hot day! This makes our hearts happy because when she first came to us, she was so shy and unsure of herself, and now her happy puppy side is shining bright!

Quinn would really benefit from someone who knows and understands GSDs and their needs & preferences. She's incredibly affectionate (LOVES belly rubs) and loves to play fetch, but she's also a breed who thrives on consistency and routine, and having a small circle of humans she knows and trusts. GSDs are protective, suspicious of strangers at times, active, intelligent, loyal, and often highly motivated. This sometimes means that extended containment in a shelter setting can cause dogs like Quinn to experience higher stress levels.

She's such a sweet girl who deserves to get out of the shelter and into a home where she can truly flourish! Click the link to learn more:

Fiona was discarded for being shy. She was discarded for being cautious of people, and although she's still shy in her kennel at the shelter, she's showing her full puppy potential when she's out with us! She's playful, mischievous, and affectionate.

We're hoping to find her a family who doesn't punish her for being insecure, but instead loves her and encourages her to feel confident!
